This natural pass leads through the steep mountain ridges between the Southern Bree-fields and the Northern Barrow-downs. Despite likely being the quickest route into the barrow-downs, the corpse of an unfortunate traveller by the road gives an omen of the horrors that will face whoever dare to tarry on.
