Big Staddlemere is a landmark within Chetwood, in Bree-land. [30.7S, 48.6W]
Just north-east of Staddle and at the foot of the Crumbled Court is the Little Staddlemere's big brother. At this lake's north-eastern end it empties through the Staddle Falls. It is assumed that via its outlet some underground water system makes this lake a major contributor to the Midgewater Marshes.
It is rumoured that fishing is good in these waters.
