Description
Gilraen bore Arathorn II a son, whom they named Aragorn, in T.A. 2931. He is the descendant of Isildur, and heir to the throne of the Kingdoms of Men. When his father was slain by Orcs Aragorn was two years old. To hide his true identity from the powerful darkness gathering in Mordor, his mother requested that he be raised in Rivendell by Elrond, where on Elrond's orders he was renamed Estel and his lineage kept hidden from him. To this day Aragorn retains a close affinity for the Elves, their customs, and their history.
In 2951, at the age of twenty, Elrond revealed Aragorn's royal heritage to him, and he assumed his role as 16th Chieftain of the Dúnedain. After this, he met Arwen, Elrond's daughter, returned from Lothlórien, and fell in love. As Chieftain of the Dúnedain, Aragorn and the Rangers watched over the affairs of the Free Peoples of Middle-earth, protecting their allies from the growing evil that reaches out from Mordor and Angmar, threatening to destroy all of Middle-earth, while asking nothing in return.
After meeting Gandalf the Grey in 2956, Aragorn and the Rangers began to pay close attention to, and to guard the Shire. In Bree-land he was known as Strider, which was also the name Frodo and his friends used for quite some time. Nevertheless, his trusted friends knew his true name and they by all means supported him and the Rangers in the dire affairs to protect common Men in general, but the Shire in particular. It is at this point in time where the Epic Story Line begins.
Shortly after this, Aragorn encountered the Hobbits in the Prancing Pony and together they escaped from the Black Riders and began their journey to Rivendell. In Rivendell, they again meet up with Gandalf at the Council of Elrond, after which the Shards of Narsil are reforged into Andúril, which Aragorn carries. Aragorn leaves Rivendell as a member of the Fellowship of the Ring.
Aragorn (Bree-land)

During the introduction quests for hobbit and man, he is found in the town of Archet where he is tending to his severely wounded kinsman, Amdir, after having freed newly created man characters from Blackwold brigands.
He soon departs from Archet and is then most often found at the Prancing Pony in Bree, resting within his room which is locked unless you have an errand for him.
