Pinnath Gelin is a region found within the land of Gondor.
As Pinnath Gelin was a loyal province of Gondor at the time of the War of the Ring when the warning beacons were lit, Hirluin the Fair, with some 300 well-armed men all dressed in green, marched to the aid of Minas Tirith during the Battle of the Pelennor Fields. Hirluin was killed by Orcs during the ensuing battle, but his daughter Nauriel now rules in his stead.
