Just north-east of Staddle and at the foot of the Crumbled Court is this quite big lake. At its north-eastern end it empties through the Staddle Falls. It is assumed that via its outlet some underground water system makes this lake a major contributor to the Midgewater Marshes.
It is rumoured that fishing is good in these waters.
