Iridír is a settlement located within the area of Ambarûl, in the Valley of Ikorbân.

Iridír is the primary village of Ambarûl, built on wooden pilings that sprawl across the marsh along the shores of the Ikorbân River. The village is led by Girhâzi and protected by the Dumûri, the Daughters of Iridír, following a revolt against the Ordâkhai after the defeat of Sauron. The forces of Iridír contest control of the Wrackwade crossing with the remaining Ordâkhai who took the fishing village of Eshadûr across the river.

Lore

Iridír was once the center of trade in Ambarûl. These days, the craftsmen, farmers, and fishermen work to restore the town. During the War of the Ring, the Ordâkhai army passed through Ambarûl and conscripted most of the men. The women who remained, led by Girhâzi, revolted against the Ordâkhai when news came to them of the defeat of Sauron and Kâlach Hûl, The Black Serpent. Only after did the men who survived the war begin to return.
