Ruddymore is an area in the region of Cardolan in the central and western region.

The Greenway runs through the Ruddymore out of the Vale of Andrath, through the old trade-town of Herne and on to the ruined city of Tharbad. At Sarn Ford, Rangers have small outpost from which hey guard the crossing of the Baranduin River that leads to the Shire. A road south out of Herne leads to a crumbled gatehouse, currently blocking access into the region of Minhiriath.

Much of the stone here is tinted red-orange and pockets of crimson fields of flowers can be found across the rolling plains. Like much of the rest of Cardolan, various ruins are scattered about the hills of Ruddymore, the most notable of which being Gaervarad, once home to a Vandassar.

Herne, being the largest settlement within the region, contains most services and amenities one would expect of a city its size, as well as several Missions.
