Dumûri
The Dumûri ("daughters" in Shagâni) are the women left behind in Ambarûl when the men of Shagâna were conscripted to war against Gondor. While war was being waged abroad, the Church of the All-seeing held control over the lands of Harad, actively suppressing those who remained. When the One Ring was destroyed in the fires of Mount Doom, the death of Sauron swept across the land, and every fane of the All-seeing was destroyed in a magical conflagration. Realizing their defeat and that most of their men would never return, the Dumûri rose up in rebellion, throwing off the yokes of the Ordâkhai and ousting them from their lands. They conquered the northern anchorage of the Wrackwade, a guarded pontoon bridge, taking back control of the fertile lands of Ambarûl. Based in Iridír, the Dumûri are now engaged in a defensive war against the invasive Ordâkhai, who still threaten the southern borders of the river.
