Location and Description

Kûr Anzar is a settlement located within the area of Tir Khûl, in the Valley of Ikorbân. [38.9S, 64.7W]

There is a small camp, with just a Stable-master and a couple of vendors, outside the walls of the semi-ruined city occupied by the forces of the All-seeing Eye.

Kûr Anzar was originally the seat of the Hamâti Shâr, though centuries of war and invasion have greatly reduced it. It was built on the ruins of a Númenórean fortification which had in turn been built over a Khandari fortress and is now held by Ordâkhai remnants.

A number of orcs who maintain their loyalty to the All-seeing Eye have claimed a section of the city for themselves- Fotak-dâr. The keep of the Ordâkhai and of their leader Okhíso is at the Tower of Kûr Anzar.

Eastern Kûr Anzar

The eastern half of the city is empty of foes, and becomes a friendly quest hub during the course of the Crown of Hamât quest chain. It can be accessed at any time by fighting through the western half of the city. It can also be accessed directly through a portal on the eastern side, [37.6S, 60.7W] which becomes usable after completing the quest A Blade of Flame and Fury, Part 3.
