Glóin's Camp is an outpost located within the area of Bruinen Source West, in the Misty Mountains. [24.8S, 4.0W]
Just north-west of Cirith Imladris, the narrow passage from Rivendell, lies an outpost led by Glóin. This is the same Glóin that travelled this same road nearly 30 years ago with Thorin Oakenshield, Gandalf, and Bilbo Baggins on the Quest of Erebor. Many of today’s dwarves of adventuring age were there the day Thorin Oakenshield and his company set out from the Blue Mountains. A couple of Elves have journeyed from Rivendell, now resting at the outpost to survey the situation in the mountains.
The outpost provides some services and sheltering warmth. The inhabitants are concerned with the increasing hostility and dangers throughout the Misty Mountains and provide visitors with tasks of all sorts.

- Only here can the Longbeards still be found in the Misty Mountains, and only in this small lonely camp built amongst the crumbled ruins of older, far grander dwarf-holdings. The few brave dwarves who have come here face insurmountable odds in taming of these wild peaks, however, and the task seems impossible so long as the power of Angmar continues to grow in the far north. — Deed

- ↑ While the stable-master route denotes The Steepset, aka Zidir-nesad, which is in a level 131-140 area of Mattugard in Gundabad, in actual fact the endpoint is the Hall of Vérnozal, which is a mission hub and closed off from the Steepset area, unless the character is sufficiently-high level to pass through the connecting portal.
