Vindurhal is an outpost located within the area of Northern High Pass, in the Misty Mountains. ^{[23.3S, 4.3E]}

Just east of Cirith Daur, at the trail between Bruinen Source East and northern High Pass, sits a remote and wind-beaten outpost called Vindurhal. Here are scouts tasked with surveying the nearby goblin-camps, willing to put adventurers to work. A Stable-master and two vendors provide their services. The fabled Grimbeorn is also found among the dwarves and elves.

Travellers heading for Goblin-town have two options:

• Ride straight east and around Ghâshru, keeping the goblin camp to the left, until the path straight north is clear, and head for Glóin at the Northern High Pass Camp, which is just outside the "main gate"
• Just west of Vindurhals starts a winding but safe path, high above the goblin camps, running straight to the Black Crack, the cave where Bilbo & Co. once were kidnapped by goblins
