Bestowal dialogue Snowbeasts can be found throughout the Misty Mountains, especially near the source of the Bruinen. Defeat snowbeasts wherever you encounter them to make the mountain passes safer for those that travel through. Background Snowbeasts can be found throughout the Misty Mountains and are a hazard to any travellers making their way through. Objective 1 Defeat snowbeasts (0/12) Snowbeasts can be found throughout the Misty Mountains, especially near the source of the Bruinen. Defeat snowbeasts wherever you encounter them to make the mountain passes safer for those that travel through. Objective 2 Talk to Malthenor Malthenor of Rivendell has been stationed in the Misty Mountains to keep watch over Glóin's camp. Malthenor will be pleased to hear that you have defeated many snowbeasts. Malthenor: 'You have survived the claws of the snowbeasts and returned with a tale to tell, <name>! I am glad to hear it and to tell you that you have performed a great service for those forced to travel into the mountains.'
