Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'Master Elrond sent a scout into the mountains to watch the activities of the giants. At present, Gwaemithrin is encamped at the small outpost our dwarf-visitors have established north of Imladris. 'Bring Gwaemithrin word of your adventures in Arifael's vale and of the hostile giants there. She may have learned something more about them, though you would think she would have already reported this to Master Elrond if she had. 'Glóin's Camp is north and east of Rivendell. Farewell, <name>, and go with haste.' Background Arifael's tidings were of great concern to Ringhul. Objective 1 Talk to Gwaemithrin The scout Gwaemithrin is in the highlands north and east of Rivendell, at Glóin's camp. Ringhul has asked you to take Arifael's warning to Gwaemithrin and learn what she might know of the giants in the Misty Mountains. Gwaemithrin: 'Ringhul sends word from Arifael of his kinsmen? I cannot say that I am surprised. I had attempted to journey to their halls in the south and east, but I was driven back. 'The journey is treacherous, and I do not recommend attempting it now, but if you should find yourself travelling that way in the future, the Elves of Rivendell would welcome any news you could bring back. 'When the times comes, try to make for the Giants' Table, a table of parley in the elder days...and do not travel alone.'
