Boss from the Vaults: Storvâgûn is a scalable Seasonal Instance accessible during the Yule Festival. Vast riches were granted to Storvâgûn by the Men of Angmar. Although many of his trinkets bear the corruption of the Witch-kind of Angmar, brave adventurers might uncover the most valuable of Storvâgûn's riches.

This instance is similar in style to a raid instance intended for groups of 6 players from level 50 and up, with Tier 1 and Tier 2 level difficulty available.

The instance takes place in the Misty Mountains and is accessible through the Instance Finder.

Instance Overview

This is a replay of the final part of Raid: Storvâgûn the Traitor in the Helegrod: Giant Wing, and plays similar. To complete this instance, defeat Storvâgûn.

Walkthrough and Tactics

After some chat with the Angmar person, Storvâgûn attacks the group. There are several rounds of adds of giants and snowbeasts.

In the original quest, the notes say:

"The main tank should grab Storvâgûn and turn him away from the group - the open cliff looks dangerous, but there's an invisible wall, so you don't have to worry about getting knocked off the edge. The rest of the group should stand directly behind the boss and DPS him until the first wave of adds, which should be killed before doing any more damage to Storvâgûn. At about half morale he will drop all aggro and become enraged, while a large pack of snow-beasts charges in. The tank(s) should pick up the beasts and kite them (don't bother killing them as they will just respawn) while the rest of the group finishes off the boss."

Note: This version may play differently - the cliff is dangerous and you can be killed if knocked over the cliff, so avoid it.
