Duillond is a settlement located within the area of Falathlorn in Ered Luin. [24.3S, 92.7W]
Its name is "Riven Haven" in Sindarin, an apt name for a town sitting high above the Eastway from Thorin's Hall to Needlehole in the Shire, and with a beautiful view over river Lhûn. The elven town of Duillond provides a few merchants as well as basic services and crafting facilities. It also affords the muted silence inside the ancient Scholar's Enclave. However, during festivals the noise from partying visitors suddenly increase as the Festival Garden is located just a bit southwards.

Scholar's Enclave
Scholar's Enclave is an elven library in Duillond. [24.2S, 93.2W]
Here Scholars used to research ancient and esoteric lore, as well as antique artefacts, to make progress in their studies. However, as a result of a reorganization the enclave now provides absolute silence for scholars who need to focus undisturbed.
Lore
- Hundreds of years ago the "Edhelion was abandoned in respect for its many fallen defenders. The Elves removed themselves to the foothills of Ered Luin and founded a new refuge, Duillond, nearer to the elven port of Celondim, which ferried the wood gathered in the mountains down the river Lhûn to Mithlond, the Grey Havens. The Elves of Duillond lived in relative peace with the dwarves of Durin's line who had followed Thráin and Thorin into exile in the Blue Mountains, but now tensions between Elf and Dwarf is rising once more." — lorebook
