The Stockbrook is a river in Eriador, located in the Shire's Eastfarthing, and a minor tributary of the River Brandywine.
The Stockbrook rises in the forested hills above Woody End, and from there flows north-eastwards out into the fields of the Marish. It passes through the southern end of the village of Stock, from which it takes its name, before emptying into the Brandywine north of Bucklebury Ferry.
On 25 September T.A. 3018, Frodo, Pippin, and Sam crossed the Stockbrook on their journey to Farmer Maggot's house.

The Stockbrook flows down from the hills around Woody End, joining a sidebranch that wells up from the ground just to its north.
-
This short river goes into another fall soon after. The river is quite shallow, and the water is fordable here to access the bandit hideout of Narrowcleeve.
-
The falls lead the river east to the Marish, where it gets caught in a shallow area, soaking the ground and nourishing the fields of Bamfurlong.
-
The Stockbrook then flows northeast through the field, its water now so shallow that it is completely wadeable.
-
Following the edge of the Yale-height, the Stockbrook is crossed by a low bridge granting access to Farmer Maggot's farm.
-
Another bridge further out gives access to the Bucklebury Ferry. A few certain hobbits were chased by Nazgûl across here.
-
The Stockbrook then passes to the south of Stock, which gives the stream its name.
-
The river then flows into the much greater Brandywine river just north of the Stocktower.
