The Trestlespan is a landmark within Trestlebridge, in the North Downs. ^{[16.6S, 53.6W]}

Once this was a majestic stone bridge that spanned over the great chasm called Cirith Núr and served the renowned, royal North-South Road which in those days was heavily trafficked. It is now replaced by a temporary wooden bridge, with Trestlebridge at the southern side and Greenway at the northern.

After the downfall of the kingdom, roads and bridges have withered but important junctions and bridges have also been under constant attack of the Enemy, the Trestlespan included. At the southern abutment, under the bridge, Supervisor Beecher inspects its damages. Located at the northern end are vigilant guards and Aggy Digweed. She is determined to defend the bridge from further incursions by the orcs and she invites those able-bodied to join her cause.
