Tyl Ruinen (Sindarin for Fire-water Islands) is an area in western Evendim. ^{[11.6S, 71.9W]}

The islands lie east of Southern Emyn Uial, west of Parth Aduial, and northwest of Annúminas and Tyl Annûn.

The islands of Tyl Ruinen are located in the mid-western area of Lake Evendim. The name is Sindarin for "Fire-water Isles", named for the large amount of salamanders that are found throughout the island. Also giant turtles are found at these islands, and some other creatures.

At the south-eastern promontory is found the Dock-master for Tyl Ruinen, providing swift cruises over the lake. Near Tollobel are found two persons investigating the fiery salamanders. On a small island south-west of mainland Tyl Ruinen, Dewitt the Explorer is found, with his mighty steed Floid.
