Elrond's Library is an interior within the Last Homely House, in Rivendell. [29.6S, 3.3W]

Entrance to Elrond's Library

At the southern wing of the second floor of Elrond's house this magnificent library is found, housing books, lore, and artefacts in a huge hall built in two levels. This is where Elrond Halfelven feels most comfortable and where he usually is found, at the lower level of the library. This is one of four crafting areas within Rivendell and for Scholars this library provides many Studies and trainers, both novice and expert. (The Scholar's Guild-hall is located just under this library, somehow.)

A library in Rivendell is not mentioned in Tolkien's works, however, considering the massive amount of lore Elrond has access to, and the many thousand years he has been able to obtain scrolls and artefacts of all sorts, it is likely the Last Homely House indeed housed a library of this kaliber.
