Proud and of elder days, the Kintai of Sul Madásh have long stood as the silent wardens of the forest of Nisigím, a hallowed wood whose breadth once covered nearly all of Mûr Ghala. Yet their long vigil wanes, for the blight, Sivígush creeps ever deeper, a canker upon root and leaf, devouring the land. Still do the Kintai hold fast, unyielding in purpose, vowing that the forest shall bloom once more with the splendour of old.
