Pre War of the Ring Hieraláf was a man of the Rohirrim, a distant cousin of king Fengel of Rohan and had taken a band of warriors to Minhiriath in the year 1913. There had been a major flood in that region that devistated the lands and the city of Tharbad. He was send by the king of Rohan to protect the city after its residents moved away leaving the possibility for orcs to take up refuge there. He was tasked to not let one orc in the city since the north-south road leads through the area and Rohan and Gondor thought it important to make sure the north was kept accesible. They made the city of Mossward just on its doorstep and lived there together with the residence of Tharbad while making sure the city and town were protected. In 1925 a large Orc patrol suprised the defenders and drove them out of the city into the Swanfleet. With most of their troops defeated and wounded they did not dare crossing the hostile lands of Dunland and instead made their way north to a city called Tornhad. Here the Dúnedain dwelled, but could not be convinced to drive out the orcs. He did however meet a lady here, who was of Dúnedain descent. She was called Beäduin, and they fell in love. His man and the surviving people of Tharbad travelled south again and reconquered an abandont Mossward and made sure to protect the town from the now in orc controlled city of Tharbad. Because Beäduin was unwilling to move out of Tornhad, Hieraláf returned here after he knew his man were save. On the 31st of January of 1932 their first son was born, named Golodir, and soon after a second son was on his way, called Manadir, born on the 4th of October of 1933. Only a month after his birth, the distant cousin of Beäduin and leader of the Dúnedain was killed by Orcs, and his son was send away to live with Elrond of Rivendell until he became of age. Hieraláf took over the leadership in Tornhad till the return of the boy, but was killed only a couple of months later after pursueing an orc patrol at the crossing of the Bruinen. Beäduin named her second son Hierok after this and raised her two sons on her own till they became 18 years of age. Golodir was send to the city of Dolindîr and a year later Hierok was on his way to Annúminas in the year of 2952. He did serves here for many years even becoming one of the Captains at Annúminas. Two years after this Beäduin passed away because of an illness. In 2975 a young girl called Alamon, who just became of age, was send here from Tornhad aswell. Golodir was now second in command of the Dúnedain and wished to gain more allies against Angmar. Hierok and Alamon rode north at Golodirs request to gain the trust of the men in the north. They entered the frozen land of Forochel and made their way to Sûri-kylä. In those first 2 weeks Hierok made sure the city was well protected and Alamon helped in the huts of healing and hunted for food. They came in favour of the Lossoth and after those 2 weeks the enemy indeed came. They were told off by the Lossoth and in return an army came to destroy the village. Helping with the defence Hierok and Alamon defeated the evil man who in return took refuge at the Ironspan to the east. Hierok and Alamon stayed with Lossoth for 5 years and fell in love. In 2980 Théoden becomes king of Rohan and Hierok and Alamon return south while Lothrandir takes over the post at Forochel. They meet with Golodir, who gives the leadership to a ranger named Halbarad. They return first to Mossward and rally the Rohirric man who wish to return. The town of Mossward had become a stable city with good defences and the residence could care for them selves now. At the coronation of Théoden they meet again with Aragorn after he returned from his adventures in the south. Together with Aragorn they return north through Lothlórien and the Vales of Anduin. Here they part ways, where Aragorn goes through the Misty Mountains and Hierok and Alamon stay at the city of Vegbár while protecting the passage over the mountains. Alamon befriends a young Beorning called Aranvi and they stayed on this posts for multiple years. Hierok and Alamon married in 2989 and got 4 kids in the following years. On the 18th of November of 2991 Hierunuir was born. On the 9th of July of 2999 both Ronaduin and Mydaxil were born and lastly on the 31st of August Haelondir was born. The girls learned a lot from the Beornings and their father and mother in the ways of fighting and hunting. Hierok and Hierunuir were send by Gandalf and Aragorn to look for Gollum in the year 3009. It were however Ronaduin and Mydaxil who first saw the creature. Ronaduin tracked its tracks and Mydaxil wrestled him to the ground, but in the process became injured. Before Gollum could finish the job Hierunuir came in with Gandalf, Aragorn and Hierok and protected her sisters. Gollum fled into Moria with a last shot of Ronaduin as warning to not return. Aragorn praised the girls, and called Hierunuir an excellent guardian, Ronaduin a great tracker and hunter and Mydaxil a brilliant brawler. Back home Aragorn and Hierok continued the search while Aranvi and Alamon took care of the girls and protected the city. War of the Ring 8 years later, in the year 3017, Gollum was finally captured and taken to Felegoth to be a prisoner there. Hierok returned home together with Aragorn and bid the girls to pack their things and go with him and Aragorn to Rivendell. Alamon and Aranvi stayed behind in Vegbár with Haelondir who had not yet become of age but promised to follow soon after. Hierok rode with Aragorn to Bree while Hierunuir went to Ost Guruth, Mydaxil to Esteldín and Ronaduin stationed at Sarn Ford with the ranger Halbarad. In the year 3018 the Nazgûl enter Eriador in search of the ring. Hierunuir encounters them on Weathertop and starts the hunt for them. On the 25th of September a Nazgûl enters the town of Archet and the ranger Amdir is stabbed by a morgul blade before Hierok and Aragorn enter the battle. They kill Amdir and Éogan at the southern Chetwood 3 days later while the Nazgûl flee. The ring-wraiths move south and fight Halbarad and Ronaduin at Sarn Ford before making their way into the Shire. Hierunuir pursues them while Haelondir and Alamon, who have left the Vales to help them, together with the ranger Meneldir make sure the survivors are taken care of and rally the remaining rangers to Tyrn Gorthad to look for the grey fear. Here Meneldir dies, the grey fear is defeated and they follow Boromir to Rivendell. In this time Mydaxil is tasked to go to the Shire and meets here with Gandalf, who asks her to go to the Dwarves of the Ered Luin to follow the gaunt-lord Ivar the Blood-hand and witnisses the return of Skorgrím Dourhand and goes after him. In the meantime Hierunuir has moved into the Shire and meets her dad at Buckland with the ranger Lenglinn on the 1st of October and realsing the Nazgûl have circled back to Bree they start the pursued. However, Mydaxil in her pursued of Skorgrím enters a barrow and is saved by Tom Bombadil. On the 3rd of October Gandalf is attacked on Weathertop and Aragorn with the 4 hobbits are still in the Midgewater Marshes while Hierok and Hierunuir make their way to Bree. Mydaxil meets Ronaduin and Alamon in Bree and goes south with Ronaduin again. Hierok and Hierunuir are confronted Haelondir and Halbarad later that day who tells the story of the situation south, Ronaduin and Mydaxil having set out to Trestlebridge and Alamon with her destination of Rivendell as a true minstrel. Halbarad and Hierok decide that Haelondir and Hierok pursue the Nazgûl while Halbarad and Hierunuir go north to fortify Esteldín. Halbarad and Hierunuir meet with Ronaduin and Mydaxil in Trestlebridge and keep heading for Esteldín, while Ronaduin and Mydaxil follow Hierok and Haelondir. The ring-bearer is stabbed on Weathertop on the 6th of October and Aragorn and the hobbits hurry to Rivendell. Hierok and Haelondir move through the Lone-lands and meet the ranger Candaith. They investigate Weathertop while the hobbits are making their way east. Ronaduin and Mydaxil have missed their destination and help Radagast with Ivar giving Mydaxil her revenge. Hierok and Haelondir meet their family back at Ost Guruth on the 10th of October and Mydaxil and Ronaduin head for Rivendell while Hierok and Haelondir go to Esteldín again on Radagasts request. On the 12th of October they reach Esteldín and ask Hierunuir to go east to Rivendell. On the 14th of October Hierunuir meets Gandalf in the Ettenmoors and together they arrive in Rivendell on the 18th. Alamon reunites with her mother again and a day later Mydaxil and Ronaduin get to Rivendell too. On the 20th of October Gandalf and Elrond defeat the Nazgûl and Frodo and company get to his destination just in time. On the 25th of October Ronaduin helps Legolas with locating the missing Nazgûl, while Alamon and Mydaxil come across Boromir when he enters from the south. The day after the Nazgûl flees to the Misty Mountains and Hierunuir, Mydaxil and Hierok are send to Glóin's Camp to warn the dwarves. They kill Skorgrím on the 27th of October and Elrond orders an attack on Helegrod to stop Ivar and the Nazgûl from fully resurrecting the dragon Thorog. In the meantime Hierok and Haelondir have reached Angmar and met Corunir. He learns of the watching stones of Angmar and how to battle their influence. Hierok sends word to Rivendell for reinforcements while he and Haelondir head north to Carn Dûm. They meet their niece Lorniel there who tells them Golodir has been captured by the crown. On the 21st of October Haelondir makes way to the Ered Luin to forge a key to enter Carn Dûm. Hierok remains in Gath Forthnír and is reunited with his family on the 5th of November. On the 6th of November Haelondir returns and finally together they enter Carn Dûm together with Lorniel. They rescue Golodir, but his daughter is slain by Mordirith. From here the story plays out as before

2873 Arathorn II is born in Tornhad. 2879 Gimli is born in the Ered Luin. 2880 Beäduin is born in Tharbad on the 25th of August. 2886 Hieraláf is born in Cliving on the 25th of May. 2890 Bilbo Baggins is born in Hobbiton. 2905 Thengel is born in Edoras. 2912 Tharbad is destroyed by the Great Floods together with Enedwaith and Minhiriath and its people leave for other lands. Beäduin comes to Tornhad and starts living with her aunt and uncle. Gondor and Rohan make a decision to keep watch over the north and sent Hieraláf, distant cousin of king Fengel, to protect the crossing at Tharbad. 2913 Hieraláf builds his encampment on the east side of Tharbad, which will become the town of Mossward. 2925 Mossward is overrun by an Orc Patrol which claims Tharbad as a home thereafter. Hieraláf and his men flee north and discover Tornhad by accident. Hieraláf and Beäduin meet and fall in love. The Rohirric men return south and reclaim Mossward, which they take as a home and former residents of Tharbad join them through the years. 2927 Hieraláf joins the Rangers of the North and he and Beäduin marry eachother. 2930 Denethor is born in the city of Minas Tirith. The father of Arathorn II is killed by Hill-trolls in the Ettenmoors. Arathorn II becomes the new chieftain of the Rangers of the North. 2931 Aragorn is born in the city of Tornhad. 2932 Golodir is born in Tornhad on the 31st of January. 2933 Arathorn II is killed by an Orc Arrow in the North Downs. Aragorn becomes the new chieftain, but because he is to young he is fostered by Elrond. Hieraláf becomes the leader of Tornhad and the Rangers till Aragorn is old enough. Hierok is born in Tornhad on the 4th of October. 2934 Bilbo Baggins receives Bag End. Hieraláf is killed by Wolves at the Crossing of the Bruinen. 2939 Alamon is born in the city of Tornhad. 2941 Thorin Oakenshield appoints Gormr Doursmith as the Steward of Thorin's Hall. Skorgrím Dourhand is discovered beneath the ruins of Edhelion with his body in perfect condition. Thorin's Company sets out from Thorin's Hall. Bilbo Baggins joins the Company. The One Ring is found by Bilbo Baggins. Sauron is defeated and driven from Dol Guldur. Bard kills the dragon Smaug. Thorin Oakenshield dies, as does Bolg in the Battle of Five Armies. Hierok has set out to establish the camp of Tinnudir at lake Evendim, making him the captain of Annúminas. 2953 King Fengel dies of the curse of Wyrgende by his own blade. Saruman lies about the location of the One Ring and the White Council meets for the last time. King Thengel is crowned king of Rohan. 2954 Beäduin dies of old age. 2956 Aragorn meets Gandalf for the first time in Lothlórien. 2957 Alamon has become of age and is send to Esteldín. Aragorn takes up the moniker Thorongil and starts travelling south. 2965 Golodir takes up leader of the Rangers of the North till Aragorn returns from his travels. 2968 Frodo Baggins is born in Hobbiton. 2975 Alamon heads towards Tinnudir on request of Golodir. Hierok and Alamon meet eachother for the first time. 2976 Golodir asks Hierok to bring two others and go north to establish an alliance with the Lossoth. Because of a growing threat in Annúminas, Hierok takes the youngest recruits, Alamon and Manandir and sets out for Forochel. In a blizzard Hierok looses his companions. Manandir dies to a tribe of Wolf-men, leaving Alamon injured behind. Hierok finds Alamon and gets her in safety close to the Lossoth village of Pynti-peldot. Hierok and Alamon reach Sûri-kylä at the start of Winter. 2977 A battle is fought between the Men of Angmar and the Lossoth and the Rangers after the Lossoth refused to join Angmar. Alamon and Hierok fall in love and start living in Sûri-kylä. 2978 Boromir is born in Minas Tirith. Théodred is born in Edoras. 2980 Samwise Gamgee is born in Bywater. Aragorn kills the captain of Umbar Baharbêl and returns to Pelargir, leaving his moniker behind. King Thengel dies of old age. Hierok and Alamon return to Tinnudir, where they hear of Thengels passing and decide to go to the coronation of their far cousin, Théoden. Gollum enters Mordor and becomes acquainted with Shelob. Hierok and his cousin Aragorn meet again after last seeing eachother as infants in Tornhad. King Théoden is crowned king of Rohan. Aragorn, Hierok and Alamon travel north to Lothlórien, where Aragorn betrothes Arwen. On request of Aragorn to protect Rivendell from the danger of the orcs of Gundabad, Hierok and Alamon travel to the High Pass in the Vales of Anduin and make a camp here. 2881 The Beornings meet Hierok and Alamon and start living with them in a village called Vegbár. 2982 Merry Brandybuck is born in Buckland. 2983 Faramir is born in Minas Tirith. 2984 Denethor becomes the 26th ruling Steward of Gondor. 2989 Hierok and Alamon marry eachother. Balin enters Moria and funds a new Dwarf settlement here. Frodo moves to Bag End. 2990 Pippin is born in Tuckborough. 2991 Éomer is born in Edoras. Hierunuir is born in Vegbár on the 31st of August. Aranvi is born in Vegbár on the 12th of September. 2994 Moria is retaken by the orcs. Balin, Óin, Ori, Frár, Náli, Lóni, Thili, Olgir and many other dwarves are killed. 2995 Éowyn is born in Edoras. 2999 Ronaduin and Mydaxil are born in Vegbár on the 9th of July. 3000 Saruman becomes ensnared by Sauron. 3001 Bilbo Baggins holds his 111th birthday party, after which he leaves into the wild. Frodo Baggins obtained the One Ring Haelondir is born in Vegbár on the 18th of November. 3002 Bilbo Baggins settles in Rivendell. 3004 Hierunuir saves Aranvi from a group of wolves, making her a guardian. 3009 Hierok meets Gandalf, who travels with Aragorn to look for Gollum. Hierok helps with the hunt together with Hierunuir. 3013 Gollum wanders from Shelobs lair and is captured by Sauron and put into the prisons of Barad-dûr. 3014 King Théoden starts becoming ill and Gríma Wormtongue gains power in Edoras. 3016 King Dáin Ironfoot sends Dwalin to Thorin's Hall to uncover why Gormr Doursmith has ceased to send tribute. Elrohir and Elladan are send by their father to investigate a prophecy and a threat from the Ered Luin. Skorgrím Dourhand is brought back to live by Ivar the Blood-hand and Gormr Doursmith is killed. 3017 Gollum is released from Mordor amid a Stout-axe revolt and returns north. Gollum is captured by Aragorn in the Dead Marshes. Gandalf learns the information of the Scroll of Isildur about the ring, and than goes to Felegoth to question Gollum. Aragorn asks Hierok and his family to leave their home of Vegbár in order to battle the upcoming threat of Mordor on Gandalfs request to protect the Shire since the suspection is Sauron will want to try to find the Shire to retrieve the ring. Alamon and Haelondir go to Esteldín. Hierok and Hierunuir go to Bree. Aragorn, Ronaduin and Mydaxil go to Sarn Ford. 3018 April 13th Gandalf tells Frodo Baggins of the ring. May 1st Gandalf travels to Sarn Ford and meets with Aragorn. May 20th Radagast comes to Meadhollow and warns Grimbeorn about the rising threat in Eriador. May 21st Aranvi leaves Meadhollow to start her journey. June 12th Saruman learns of the coming Nazgûl. June 13th Radagast meets with Saruman, who bids him to find Gandalf and tell him about the coming Nazgûl. Acca and Gríma Wormtongue learn of the rising threat. Haelondir leaves Esteldín to investigate the rumour about Skorgrím Dourhands return. June 20th Faramir has a prophetic dream of Rivendell and a halfling. The Great Bridge in Osgiliath is broken in the Nazgûls attack, nearly killing Faramir and Boromir. June 30th Gandalf meets with Radagast and heads for Saruman, leaving a letter at Barliman Butterbur. July 1st The Nazgûl cross the Anduin in search of the Shire. July 4th Boromir has a prophetic dream of Rivendell and a halfling. Boromir leaves to find Rivendell. July 10th Gandalf is betrayed by Saruman and imprisonent on top of Orthanc. July 30th Acca is thrown inside the dungeons of Orthanc. August 12th Haelondir enters Thorin's Hall and learns of Skorgrím Dourhand. She heads to Bree to inform her father. August 15th Gollum enters Moria to hide. September 1st. The Nazgûl leave the Wold and head for Isengard. September 14th Boromir meets Saruman and reveals his destination to him. September 18th Gandalf escapes Orthanc with the help of Gwaihir. The Nazgûl cross the river Isen in search of the Shire. Aragorn leaves Sarn Ford and heads for Bree. September 20th The Nazgûl learn the location of the Shire from Gríma Wormtongue. Hierunuir is send to Sarn Ford by Aragorn. September 21st The Nazgûl cross the Greyflood and are closing in on their destination. September 22nd The Nazgûl come to Sarn Ford and drive away the Rangers guardiang it. Mydaxil is driven in the diretion of Gaervarad. Ronaduin hides on the westbank of the river Baranduin. Hierunuir is driven in the direction of Herne. Aranvi enters the village of Mossward. September 23rd The Nazgûl widen their search. 4 Nazgûl enter the Shire. 5 Nazgûl enter Bree-land. Ronaduin and Hierunuir find eachother. Hierunuir decides to hunt for the four Nazgûl, while Ronaduin needs to track Mydaxil and head north to warn Hierok. Mossward is attacked by the White Hand. Aranvi meets Meneldir. Gandalf leaves Edoras with Shadowfax. Aranvi and Meneldir go to Clegur to learn if they have been attacked aswell. Merry and Fredegar Bolger leave Bag End and travel to Crickhollow. A Nazgûl encounters Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee and Pippin, but is distracted by Bounder Boffin and flees when Hierunuir draws near. Tegwyn overhears Meneldirs concern about Saruman and goes missing. Mundo Sackville-Baggins is kidnapped by Blackwold brigands alongside Celandine Brandybuck. September 24th Meneldir and Aranvi find Tegwyn who tells them the Uruks are heading for Caras Gelebren. Aranvi brings Tegwyn home while Meneldir hunts the orcs. Gandalf crosses the river Isen. Hierok, Aragorn and Amdir head for Archet to assess the Blackwold problem. Meneldir meets Bregoleth who goes to inform Elrond of Sarumans treachory, while Meneldir will do the same to Aragorn. Frodo Baggins and company encounter another Ringwraith, but it is scared away by Gildor Inglorion. The Witch-king of Angmar and two other Ringwraiths wake the dead in Andrath, Tyrn Gorthad and the Barrow-downs. September 25th Amdir, Aragorn and Hierok rescue Mundo Sackville-Baggins and Celandine Brandybuck, but Amdir is stabbed by a Morgul Blade. Captain Brackenbrook let's the companions rest in Archet. Boromir crosses the Gwathló at Tharbad and meets with Egfrith, Aranvi and Meneldir. Aragorn trusts Hierok with the defence of Archet and returns to Bree looking for Frodo Baggins. Ronaduin finds Mydaxil, but instead of heading for Bree they start following Hierunuir into the Shire. Archet is destroyed, and Captain Brackenbrook dies, as does Calder Cob. Amdir is taken by two Cargûl. Frodo Baggins and company cross the Baranduin while two ringwraiths watch them from the westside. September 26th Frodo Baggins and company leave Fredegar Bolger at Crickhollow and enter the Old Forest. Hierok meets Toradan. Jagger Jack is killed by Hierok and Toradan and the Blackwold stronghold is raided. Gandalf enters the Swanfleet William Skunkwood is killed and the last remaining Blackwold hideout is rooted. Amdir turns into a wraith and kills Toradan. Hierok starts the hunt. Tom Bombadil rescues the hobbits, who stay with him for a while. Hierunuir meets Halros who has discovered that rangers are missing from the Border. They learn of a man named Éogan whos responsible from the attack on the goblins. Hierunuir heads for Bree to warn Aragorn. Elrond is informed by Bregoleth about Sarumans treachery. September 27th Gandalf crosses the Gwathló. Egfriths treachery is discovered by Boromir, Meneldir and Aranvi in Herne. Mundol and Reniolind are killed by Amdir and Hierok rides to Aragorn for help. Boromir heads for Rivendell while Meneldir and Aranvi head north for Aragorn. Meneldir encounters the body of Narndir and heads for Sarn Ford with his journal. Ronaduin and Mydaxil enter Bree from the south, Haelondir and Hierunuir from the west, Hierok from the east and they inform Aragorn about Skorgrím Dourhand, Éogan and Amdirs fate. Meneldir and Aranvi arrive at Sarn Ford and inform Halbarad about Sarumans treachery, whereafter they return back into the wild. September 28th Gandalf reaches Halbarad who tells him that the Nazgûl have entered the Shire. Frodo Baggins and company leave Tom Bombadils house. Meneldir learns of the Grey Fear. Frodo Baggins and company are trapped by a Barrow-wight. Meneldir and Aranvi meet Gorwen. Meneldir and Gorwen plan to enter the Catacombs while Aranvi stand watch. Amdir and Éogan are killed when Ost Baranor is besieged by Hierok, Hierunuir, Ronaduin, Mydaxil, Haelondir, Aragorn, Torthann and Lenglinn and the five Nazgûl and Skorgrím Dourhand escape. Lenglinn and Ronaduin head for Buckland in search of the hobbits along the road. September 29th Tom Bombadil rescues the hobbits and gives them ancient barrow-daggers. Gandalf arrives at Hobbiton and learns they moved to Crickhollow. The Blackwold are killed by Skorgrím Dourhand after they defied him. Meneldir is killed by the Grey Fear, and Gorwen is saved by Halbarad and Aranvi. Frodo Baggins meets Aragorn and they decide to travel to Rivendell together. September 30th Five ringwraiths attack the Prancing Pony, but fail to locate the ring. Four ringwraiths attack Crickhollow. Fredegar Bolger tells them Frodo Baggins has left the Shire. Ronaduin rides with a message to Aragorn back to Bree. Aragorn and the hobbits leave Bree. Haelondir is send with a message for aid to Tom Bombadil. Gandalf comes to Crickhollow and heads for Bree. Halbarad and Aranvi go to Esteldín to fortify it. Aragorn and the hobbits veer north and enter the Chetwood. Haelondir gives the message to Tom Bombadil and she kills Andraste on Toms request. Gandalf arrives at the Prancing Pony and recieves news from Barliman Butterbur. Ronaduin arrives at Bree and informs her father. October 1st Tom Bombadil and Haelondir enter the Great Barrow and encounter the Witch-king of Angmar, Skorgrím Dourhand and Ivar the Blood-hand and defeats the wight-lord Sambrog. He finds a blue brooch from Luilloth. The Nazgûl attack Bree and Gandalf starts to pursue them. Hierok, Hierunuir, Ronaduin and Mydaxil follow close. Tom Bombadil gives the brooch to Goldberry who sends Haelondir to enter Sarch Vorn. Haelondir encounters Aranvi and Halbarad, and she and Aranvi return to Gorwen. The three of them enter Sarch Vorn and defeat the grey fear Hithrengor, who is summoned back to Mandos. October 2nd Haelondir and Aranvi ride back to Bree to deliver a message from Tom Bombadil about the events in the Great Barrow. Aragorn and the hobbits enter the Midgewater Marshes. Ronaduin and Mydaxil enter the Midgewater Marshes and Hierunuir goes into the south-downs looking for Aragorn, while Hierok pursues Gandalf and the Nazgûl. October 3rd Haelondir, Halbarad and Aranvi enter Bree and learn from Barliman Butterbur what the situation is. Haelondir heads for Esteldín after Halbarad while Aranvi stays in Bree as back-up. Gandalf comes to Weathertop and leaves his mark on the hill. At night the ringwraiths attack him and his attacks are seen by Aragorn and the hobbits, Radagast, Hierok, Ronaduin and Mydaxil, Hierunuir, Aranvi and Candaith. October 4th 4 Nazgûl follow Gandalf, leading them away from Frodo Baggins. Ronaduin finds the tracks of the hobbits. Aragorn and the hobbits leave the Midgewater Marshes. Radagast encounters Saeradan and heads back east. October 5th Gandalf returns to Bree after the Nazgûl lost track of him and he encounters Aranvi, recieving the message for Aragorn from Tom Bombadil. Aragorn and the hobbits enter the Weather Hills. Hierok arrives at the base of Weathertop and starts looking for the Nazgûl. October 6th Gandalf leaves Bree again and informs Saeradan and Aranvi to recruit the help of Radagast. Aranvi follows him to the Lone-lands as Saeradan knows Radagast moved there. Hierok encounters Candaith at the base. The Nazgûl attack the hobbits and stab Frodo Baggins. October 7th 4 of the Nazgûl break off their hunt for Gandalf and return to Weathertop. Aranvi meets Candaith and Hierok and informs them to search for Radagast, but first Candaith and Hierok want to search Weathertop to investigate the strange noices from last night. Gandalf encounters Ronaduin and Mydaxil who tell them where the tracks lead towards. Ronaduin and Mydaxil enter the Weather Hills. Hierunuir turns north and comes to the Forsaken Inn. Hierok discovers the sign of Gandalf and he decides to go to Radagast with Aranvi to seek help. October 8th Ronaduin and Mydaxil pass by the Forsaken Inn where they meet Hierunuir. They decide Hierunuir will go for Rivendell, while Ronaduin and Mydaxil go for Esteldín. Hierok and Aranvi deliver Gandalfs sign to Radagast. Halbarad arrives at Esteldín. October 9th Haelondir arrives at Esteldín. Radagast, Hierok and Aranvi learn of the Red Maid and Ivar the Blood-hand in Agamaur. Gandalf enters Rhudaur. October 10th Radagast battles Ivar the Blood-hand. Hierunuir enters the Trollshaws and encounters Glorfindel. As Ronaduin and Mydaxil enter the North Downs, they learn of a threat of orcs and Dourhands. October 11th Radagast starts cleansing Agamaur. Hierok and Aranvi delve deeper and enter Garth Agarwen. Glorfindel and Hierunuir chase off 3 ringwraiths from the Last Bridge and Glorfindel leaves an elf stone. October 12th The Red Maiden is fully restored and Ivar the Blood-hand is defeated by Hierok and Aranvi. Ronaduin and Mydaxil enter Esteldín. October 13th Aragorn finds the elf stone and enter the Trollshaws. October 14th Aragorn and the hobbits go north off the road. Gandalf enters the Ettenmoors. Bósi and Brogur determine they will arrange an expedition to Moria. October 16th Radagast leaves for Rhovanion. Aranvi heads back to Tom Bombadil and Saeradan to inform them about the hobbits and the Red Maiden. Hierok meets with Hierunuir on the Last Bridge and keep watch there. Glorfindel finds Aragorns trail. October 18th Halbarad sends Ronaduin, Mydaxil, Haelondir and Alamon to Fornost to investigate the enemies presence there. Gandalf reaches Rivendell. Aranvi reaches Bree and talks with Saeradan. Hierok and Hierunuir encounter the last 4 Nazgûl and are driven back into the Trollshaws. Glorfindel reaches Aragorn and the hobbits. October 19th Ronaduin, Mydaxil, Haelondir and Alamon meet with Mincham and discover Angmar has send an entire army to Fornost. October 20th Gandalf and Elrond defeat the Nazgûl and the company reaches Rivendell. October 21st Ronaduin, Mydaxil, Haelondir and Alamon return to Halbarad. Ronaduin and Mydaxil are send south for aid of Gildor Inglorion and Haelondir and Alamon go north to aid Dori. October 22nd Dori is rescued from the Dourhands. Elladan and Elrohir find the corpses of the Black Riders' horses, but only 8. They start their investigation. Ronaduin, Mydaxil and Haelondir head into Angmar. October 23rd Saeradan and Aranvi moved north and defend Trestlebridge against the orcs. Boromir encounters Hierok and Hierunuir and they start to journey to Rivendell. October 24th Frodo Baggins wakes again. Ronaduin, Mydaxil and Haelondir enter Aughaire and they meet Corunir. October 25th Boromir, Hierok and Hierunuir arrive at Rivendell. Elrohir and Elladan are unsuccesful, so Hierok and Hierunuir take an elf stone from Glorfindel and help their search. Corunir takes a stone heart and breaks the spirits of the Rammas Deluon. The council of Elrond starts. October 26th Elladan, Elrohir, Hierok and Hierunuir have a lead and find the missing Nazgûl. Ronaduin, Mydaxil and Haelondir leave for Gath Forthnir. October 27th Hierok and Hierunuir follow the Nazgûl and join Glóin in the Misty Mountains. Hierok kills Skorgrím Dourhand after learning of their plan. October 28th Ronaduin, Mydaxil and Haelondir meet their cousin Lorniel. Hierok, Hierunuir and Glóin enter Helegrod and interrupt Drugoth the Death-monger's plan, but not before reviving Thorog. October 29th Hierok, Hierunuir, Glóin, Elrohir and Elladan battle the dragon-wight Thorog at Helegrod. Lorniel learns how to forge a key for Carn Dûm and Haelondir goes to Othrikar for someone to forge it. October 30th Hierok and Hierunuir move to Angmar on Aragorns request. October 31st Litli forges the Carn Dûm key. November 3rd Haelondir returns to Gath Forthnir. Hierok and Hierunuir enter Angmar. Aranvi sets out for Esteldín. November 4th Lorniel, Ronaduin, Mydaxil and Haelondir enter Carn Dûm and rescue Golodir. Lorniel is killed by Mordirith. November 5th Hierok and Hierunuir arrive at Gath Forthnir. November 6th Laerdan receives Golodirs repaired armour and Golodir, Ronaduin and Hierok enter Carn Dûm and defeat Mordirith. Hierunuir, Mydaxil and Haelondir enter Barad Gúlaran where Amarthiel reveals herself, after which they flee. Ronaduin enters Combe and kills Bhaltair together with Constable Underhill. After this she rides towards Tinnudir. Mydaxil enters Ost Guruth and kills Neacal together with Frideric the Elder. Ronaduin and Hierunuir meet at the Fields of Fornost and head towards Tinnudir. November 11th Calenglad and his Rangers find Amarthiel in Annúminas. She escapes but they kill Morguldur. Ronaduin and Hierunuir arrive at Tinnudir. November 12th Haelondir arrives at Gondamon and kills Kevoca together with Mathi. After this she rides towards Tinnudir. Mydaxil arrives at Tinnudir. Calenglad sends reinforcements under the command of the young ranger Avandie to Annúminas. Mordrambor is captured and taken prisoner in the keep of Tinnudir. November 13th Mordrambor reveals that Amarthiel has send emmisaries away. Alamon travels towards the Gauredain. Aranvi travels towards the Men of Rantost. November 14th Alamon kills the emissary of the Gauredain. Haelondir enters Tinnudir. Aranvi kills the emissary of the Men of Rantost. Hierok, Hierunuir, Ronaduin, Mydaxil and Haelondir besiege Annúminas. Hierunuir and Gwonil defend their postion. Hierok and Torchirion defend their postion. Ronaduin, Mydaxil and Haelondir kill Guldurchir and retrieve Tann Morgul. Haelondir takes Tann Morgul to Tinnudir while the rest stays inside the city. November 15th Laerdan leaves to confront Amarthiel. Amarthiel discovers the locations of Narchuil, only for the family to take the Palantir, leaving Laerdan behind. Mordrambor escapes with the Tann Morgul, killing Tadan, Colhamnir and Carchammadel. Aranvi and Alamon returns to Tinnudir. November 16th The family witnesses the burrying of the fallen. Agarochir rides for the Trollshaws. Mordrambor rides for Forochel. November 17th Hierok, Hierunuir and Ronaduin ride towards the Trollshaws. Aranvi, Mydaxil and Alamon ride towards Forochel. November 19th Haelondir, Calenglad, Forchon and Avandie stage an assault upon Barad Tironn, but find Laerdan gone. Agarochir comes into conflict with Candelleth and her scouts. November 20th Agarochir finds a part of Narchuil and heads towards Angmar. Hierok, Hierunuir and Ronaduin arrive in the Trollshaws. Idhreneth finds a rotted diary, which causes Ronaduin to find the keys of Delossad. Hierunuir and Ronaduin head for Rivendell to repair the keys. Haelondir discovers that Laerdan has been shipped off to Carn Dûm, and decides to follow him with Avandie. November 21st Hierunuir and Ronaduin return and Hierok enters Delossad. Agarochir locks Hierok inside one of its rooms. Aranvi, Mydaxil and Alamon enter Pynti-peldot and meet with Lothrandir. Glorfindel saves Hierok, after which Glorfindel rides towards Rivendell, while Hierok, Hierunuir and Ronaduin ride towards Angmar. November 24th Aranvi, Mydaxil and Alamon enter Sûri-kylä and the chieftain remembers Alamon and lets them in. Mordrambor attempts to lure the Lossoth to join Angmar's side, but they refuse. November 25th Haelondir and Avandie meet Hierok, Hierunuir and Ronaduin at the gates of Carn Dûm. The Chieftain Yrjänä sends Aranvi and Mydaxil towards the seer Saija at Näky-kolo. The family finds Laerdan and kills his jailers, Lozudurkh and Morven. Alamon rides towards Pynti-peldot. November 26th Haelondir and Avandie bring Laerdan to Rivendell. Hierok, Hierunuir and Ronaduin go after Agarochir. November 29th Aranvi and Mydaxil meet the seer Saija, who sends them to an old shipwreck with the shade of Arvedui still close by. November 30th Haelondir and Avandie arrive at Rivendell with Laerdan unconcious. Arvedui instructs Aranvi and Mydaxil to search the old dwarf-mines. Aranvi and Mydaxil find the book of heraldry and Mydaxil heads for Lothrandir in Pynti-peldot, while Aranvi heads for Saija. December 1st Laerdan awakes and reveals the history of Narchuil to the council. Laerdan swears an oath that he will not find rest or peace until Narmeleth is returned to him. Bósi and Brogur have finished assembling the Iron Garrison, and set out on a long journey from Erebor. Saija sends Aranvi towards the ice caves of Halla-kolo. Agarochir enters the Tomb of Maenadar and retrieves Celebrimbor's shaping tools. Hierok, Hierunuir and Ronaduin loose his tracks. Hierok and Hierunuir head for Rivendell while Ronaduin tries to track the villain. December 2nd Mydaxil arrives at Pynti-peldot and Lothrandir urges her to return to Rivendell with the book while he and Alamon ride west towards Aranvi. Aranvi enters Halla-kolo and discovers the second piece of Narchuil, while discovering Mordrambor betrayed Amarthiel. December 3rd Aranvi meets Lothrandir and Alamon on the rode and while Aranvi rides towards Rivendell with the second piece, Lothrandir and Alamon pursue Amarthiel and Mordrambor. Ronaduin finds the tracks of Agarochir and starts the pursued. December 5th Lothrandir and Alamon discover Bregmor's Den and meet Mordrambor who has slain the dragon Bregmor. Lothrandir rides for Sûri-kylä and Alamon for Rivendell. December 6th Hierok and Hierunuir arrive at Rivendell. Mydaxil arrives at Rivendell with the book of Heraldry. December 7th Aranvi arrives at Rivendell with the second piece. Laerdan steals the two pieces of Narchuil and leaves Rivendell. Hierok, Hierunuir, Mydaxil, Haelondir, Avandie and Aranvi pursue Laerdan to Eregion. December 8th Alamon arrives at Rivendell. December 9th Hierok, Hierunuir, Mydaxil, Haelondir, Avandie and Aranvi meet Ronaduin at the ring-forge in Eregion. Amarthiel reforges Narchuil, but is confronted by Mordrambor and Mordirith who take the ring and kill Laerdan, but not before revealing his true name, Ëarnur. December 10th Alamon, Elrond and Glorfindel travel to Delossad from Rivendell, while Hierok, Hierunuir, Mydaxil, Haelondir, Avandie and Aranvi do so from the ring-forge with Narmeleth as prisoner. December 12th Glorfindel questions Narmeleth and the family with Aranvi and Narmeleth sets out for Esteldín. Avandie rides back towards Eregion to keep an eye on the ring-forges and Elrond and Glordindel travel back to Rivendell. December 15th Narmeleth reveals a spy named Alis and then travels with the family and Aranvi towards Carn Dûm to confront Mordrambor and Mordirith. December 17th The family with Aranvi and Narmeleth enter Gath Forthnír and meet with Golodir. They set out to retrieve Lorniel's sword and than go to Gador Gúlaran. December 18th The family with Aranvi, Golodir and Narmeleth enter Gador Gúlaran and Golodir kills Mordrambor. The Company of the Ring is formed in Rivendell to escort Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee on their journey to Mount Doom. Narmeleth, Golodir and Hierok push on while the rest stays behind to keep the way out clear. They kill Mordirith, but Narmeleth dies as well. December 19th The family and Aranvi bury Narmeleth with Lorniel and head back towards Rivendell. December 25th The family and Aranvi arrive at Rivendell. The Company of the Ring heads south for Mordor. December 26th The Company of the Ring reach the High Moor of the Trollshaws. December 28th The Iron Garrison, led by Bósi and Brogur, start their ascent to the Misty Mountains. 3019 January 1st Without the power in Angmar fallen, the Angmarim open the Rift of Nûrz Ghâshu to let some of the foulest creatures corrupt the lands. Golodir sends word to Rivendell and Esteldín. January 6th The Iron Garrison, led by Bósi and Brogur, meet with Glóin in his camp and talk with him about Moria. Glóin is skeptical of their venture and thinks Balin's colony has been lost. To be save he sends one of his companions, Yowyow, to ask for guidance from Elrond. January 7th: The Company of the Ring emerges onto the open plains of Eregion. Yowyow tells of the dwarves plan to reconquer Moria. Elrond hears of the opening of the Rift of Nûrz Ghâshu, and makes a decision about how to continue. Hierok, Alamon, Aranvi and Yowyow leave Rivendell and head for Moria to help the dwarves and maybe distract the enemy from the Company of the Ring, they ride towards the High Moor to join the dwarves. Glorfindel, Hierunuir, Ronaduin, Mydaxil and Haelondir leave Rivendell and head for the Rift of Nûrz Ghâshu to close it again. January 8th The Company of the Ring stops at High Hollin in Eregion and see the three peaks of Moria. Crebain swarm over them again, and they hide on the ground. Hierok, Alamon, Aranvi and Yowyow arrive at the High Moor and wait for the dwarves. To avoid being seen by the crebain, the Company of the Ring starts walking at night time. January 9th The Company of the Ring travel through High Hollin toward the wilderness of Tâl Caradhras and shelter against another swarm of Crebain. The dwarves catch up and travel to Moria with Hierok, Alamon, Aranvi and Yowyow. Together they form the Iron Garrison. January 10th The Company of the Ring pass through Tâl Caradhras and come to the foothills of the Redhorn Pass. January 11th The Company of the Ring starts the ascent up the Redhorn Pass. January 12th The Company of the Ring reach the cliffs below the pass. Snow starts to fall. Snow piles up, and rocks tumble from the heights. The Company of the Ring hear a voice echoing through the peaks, and the cold seeps into them. Gandalf uses magic to keep them from freezing. Snow has blocked the pass completely. The Company of the Ring have no choice but to turn back. The Company of the Ring decide to go through Moria. They backtrack through Tâl Caradhras to High Hollin The Company of the Ring hear howling. They shelter on a hilltop. The Company of the Ring is attacked by a wolf. Legolas kills it. They hear more howling. January 13th The Company of the Ring fends of a pack of maddened shadow wolves. Gandalf burns down an entire hilltop to chase them off. The Company of the Ring enters the Walls of Moria. Glorfindel, Hierunuir, Ronaduin, Mydaxil and Haelondir arrive at Gath Forthnír and Golodir tells them of the Roving Threats that have been roaming the lands. The Company of the Ring arrives at the Doors of Durin. Glorfindel decides to first close the Rift of Nûrz Ghâshu and than pursue the creatures that left it. The Watcher in the Water grabs Frodo, but Sam hacks off its tentacle. The Company escape into Moria. The Watcher destroys the entrance, sealing them inside. Inside, Gollum begins to trail them. January 14th The Company of the Ring come to the Chamber of the Crossroads. The Iron Garrison, led by Bósi and Brogur, arrive at the entrance to Moria to find its entrance recently collapsed and impassable. The Company of the Ring leaves the Chamber of the Crossroads through the right passage. The Iron Garrison come into conflict with the half-orcs of Filgogân. Graug and Lofrík are killed. The Company of the Ring come to the Twenty-first Hall. Frodo spots Gollum. January 15th The Company of the Ring find Balin's and Ori's corpses in the Chamber of Mazarbul. The Iron Garrison scout the Brackwater. Ógur and Súlki are killed by cave-lizards. The Company of the Ring find the Book of Mazarbul. They are swarmed by Orcs, and encounter Durin's Bane. It chases them to the Bridge of Khazad-dûm, where it and Gandalf fall together into the abyss. The rest of the Company flees from Moria into Dimrill Dale. Hierok and Alamon kill several spying crebain flocking about the Walls of Moria. The Company of the Ring pass the Mirrormere. The Company of the Ring arrive at the Nimrodel on the border of Lothlórien. January 16th Orcs attack the Company of the Ring, but are killed by Haldir's archers or flee. Gandalf and Durin's Bane battle in the Foundations of Stone. The Company of the Ring is accosted by Haldir and his band of border-guards. They are put under guard and led blindfolded through the woods. Gandalf loses his hat in the fight with Durin's Bane. They arrive at the bottom of the Endless Stair, and start to ascend it. The Iron Garrison works to excavate the blocked entrance to Moria. They send Aranvi to kill some of the howling Shadow wolves. Hierok and Alamon kill more Crebain in Eregion. January 17th The Company of the Ring arrive at Cerin Amroth and see Caras Galadhon and Mirkwood. The Iron Garrison beats back more howling shadow wolves. The Iron Garrison sends repaired pickaxes to the dwarves clearing the Doors of Durin. Bósi attempts to rouse the harried dwarves' mood with a speech by the Doors of Durin. The Watcher in the Water emerges and grabs Bróin and several other dwarves, and pull them beneath the surface. The dwarves retreat back to their outpost. The Watcher in the Water pulls Bróin and the other dwarves into the Drowned Treasury. There, they find Zigilburk on the corpse of Óin. The Company of the Ring arrives at Caras Galadhon and meet with Galadriel and Celeborn. January 18th The Iron Garrison make another attempt at passing the Black Pool. The Watcher in the Water attacks again, but the dwarves hew off its tentacles. The Watcher retreats back into its pool. The Iron Garrison passes the Doors of Durin and enter Moria. They establish Durin's Threshold in the Great Delving. Yowyow takes the first watch on the Black Pool while Alamon tends to the injured dwarves. Hierok and Aranvi push further into Moria and annihilate the first orc camps. The Iron Garrison establishes the Dolven-view in the Great Delving. Hierok and Alamon head south and Aranvi goes north with Bósi and Brogur. Galadriel and Celeborn decide to form a party of Elves, lead by the high-elf Tinarwing, to establish a small foothold within the depths of Moria. The Iron Garrison establishes the Deep Descent in the Silvertine Lodes. The Iron Garrison establishes the Chamber of the Crossroads in Durin's Way. January 19th The Iron Garrison establishes the Chamber of Command in Durin's Way. Yowyow heads into Moria aswell. The Iron Garrison establishes Lamâb-dûm in the Great Delving. The Iron Garrison battle gredbyg in the Great Delving and discover mention of the one-handed mithril axe Zigilburk, forged in the secret forge Nâr-khelab, the Heart of Fire, by the smith Ongli. Galadriel gathers members for the party of Elves to go into the depths of Moria. The Iron Garrison find the trick to opening Nâr-khelab at Katûb-zahar. The location of the forge itself, however, remains hidden to the Iron Garrison. Yowyow arrives at the Deep Descent and learns of Nâr-khelab. The Iron Garrison establishes the Orc-watch in the Redhorn Lodes. Hierok and Alamon keep heading south in pursue of the beast below. January 20th The Iron Garrison establishes The Twenty-first Hall in Zelem-melek. The small party of Elves formed by Galadriel set out from Caras Galadhon to establish a holding within the depths of Moria. The Iron Garrison establishes The Rotting Cellar in the Water-works. Hierok and Alamon start the hunt for the Watcher in the Water. After a goblin hunt, Yowyow discovers a blank space on a goblin map and heads to the Chamber of the Crossroads to talk with Bósi about his discovery. Brogur and Aranvi relocate to the Chamber of Leadership by the Twenty-First Hall. The Iron Garrison establishes Gharâf-fehem in the Redhorn Lodes. Yowyow and Bósi uses the map and and discovers the path to the Way of Smiths. Inside, he discovers the the secret forge Nâr-khelab, the Heart of Fire. The axe Zigilburk is not in the forge, however. January 21st: The Iron Garrison establishes Auti's Camp and Knakk's Camp in the Redhorn Lodes. The dwarves are attacked by Uruks of the White Hand, but they strike back and kill several Orcs and Goblins. The Iron Garrison establishes the Crossroads of Ash in the Flaming Deeps. Gandalf and Durin's Bane reach the level of Durin's Way on the Endless Stair. The Iron Garrison do not witness this directly, but the presence of Durin's Bane in the upper level is enough to spread the shadow of fear across the expedition. Wárr and Aranvi uncover the Chamber of Mazarbul and finds the Book of Mazarbul. The Iron Garrison learn the fate of Balin and his colony. January 22nd Brogur sends a team of dwarves to set up a camp in the Dimrill Dale outside Moria's East entrance. Bori plans a strike against the Orcs by taking out the leader of the White Hand. Though many dwarves refuse to aid him, Wíli, Stilling and Aranvi volunteer to join. The Iron Garrison establishes Anazârmekhem in the Flaming Deeps. Bori, Wíli, Stilling and Aranvi collect old equipment and barrels of black powder. January 23rd Gandalf and Durin's Bane reach the top of the Endless Stair. They exit Durin's Tower and battle atop a narrow ledge on the peak of Zirakzigil. Bósi finishes reading the Book of Mazarbul and learns that Mazog was behind the massacre of Balin's colony. Bori, Wíli, Stilling and Aranvi strike at Stazgnâkh. Ashpar is killed, and Bori learns that Mazog is the true leader of the Moria Orcs. The Iron Garrison establishes Jazârgund in Durin's Way, and see the damage done to the Endless Stair by the recent battle of Gandalf and Durin's Bane. Bori returns to Bósi and they share news of Mazog. January 24th Bósi recruits Slóthi and Thórgnyr to set up supply lines of food from the exterior of Moria. The Iron Garrison establishes the Peaceful Path in Durin's Way. The small party of Elves formed lead by Tinarwing reach the Foundations of Stone, where they establish the Shadowed Refuge. They send a message about their location back to Galadriel. Bósi recruits Sigdan and Sporr to scout and kill lurking Orc spies. Galadriel receives news of the establishment of the Shadowed Refuge in the Foundations of Stone. Bósi recruits Thálfi and Melmar to check the safety of the bottom of the well in the Chamber of the Crossroads. Stóthkell and Yowyow learn that the Orcs plan an assault on the Way of Smiths. January 25th Gandalf finally kills Durin's Bane at the cost of his own life. While the Wizard perishes at the very peak of the mountain, the dying Balrog falls onto on a cliff edge below. Brogur's Dimrill Dale team cross the East gate of Moria and come to the Mirrormere. There, they establish Mekhem-bizru as an outpost. Bori reads the Book of Mazarbul. He finds mention of Óin, the upper armouries of Third Deep, and a mighty axe. He thinks this refers to Zigilburk, and the Hall of Mithril in the Water-works. The Iron Garrison establishes the Door to the Clouds in Durin's Way. Stóthkell, Rink Stronghammer and Yowyow gear up the Way of Smiths for defence. They construct barricades, disrupt the network of Goblin runners, and scavenge materials for weapon forging. Brogur and Aranvi set up the defences of the Twenty-first Hall and strikes out against the Ghâsh-hai Orcs of the Flaming Deeps. January 26th The camp at Mekhem-bizru sends word of its successful completion to Brogur. Brogur heads for the Deep Way while Aranvi is charged with protecting the Twenty-first Hall. Bori arrives in the Water-works and meets with Hierok and Alamon who are unsuccesful in finding the beast. Bori, Hierok and Alamon travel to the Drowned Treasury and there finds the corpse of Óin, and the weakened, cold and fearful Bróin. Bróin has managed to keep the Watcher in the Water at bay by wielding Zigilburk against it, but has been unable to escape. The Iron Garrison ventures out onto the cliff of Zirakzigil where they find the corpse of Durin's Bane, still smoking. Though terrifying to behold even in death, the dwarves are heartened by the end of this thousand-year threat to Khazad-dûm. They do not notice Gandalf's still form lying atop the peak high above. January 27th Bori brings Bróin to the Peaceful Path for healing and rest. They bring Zigilburk with them, though Bróin says it is cursed. Bróin warns Bori that Zigilburk might be cursed with greed. Bori ignores this warning, and ask Glúmur to investigate Mazog's lair at Zabadgathol in Nud-melek. Alamon joins Bori while Hierok hurries towards Brogur to tell him of Bori's plan. Dwarves from the camp at the Door to the Clouds spread the word of the death of Durin's Bane through the upper levels of Moria. Glúmur finds a cache of evil relics from Dol Guldur at Zabadgathol, revealing the machinations of Gorothúl. The Iron Garrison establishes the Tharâkh Bazân camp in Durin's Way. Aranvi tells Hierok Brogur is headed for the Deep Way and Hierok follows him. Bori, Lifur and Mag march to Zabadgathol wielding Zigilburk, certain of his victory over Mazog. Instead, Gorothúl captures the three dwarves and seizes Zigilburk using dark magics. Alamon, who had infiltrated the fortress unseen by Gorothúl, manages to escape although it is wounded. The Iron Garrison prepares for a siege by Mazog's Orcs. January 28th Mazog's Orcs strike at the Deep Way, defended by Brogur and his forces and Hierok. The assault is led by Gukhmûl, who rallies many Orcs to his side. Brogur withstands the prolonged assault and Hierok kills Gukhmúl, keeping the Deep Way safe. The Way of Smiths comes under attack by Harna and a horde of Ghâsh-hai. Stóthkell and Yowyow mount a defence to keep the Heart of Fire out of Mazog's grip. Though hard-pressed, Stóthkell's forces slay Harna and beat back the tide of Orcs. Wíli and Aranvi defend the Twenty-first Hall against goblin sappers carrying black powder. Wíli and his dwarves counter the attacks, and unfurl banners of Khazad-dûm to boost morale. Mazog sends Motsham into the fray, but Aranvi manages to hold out, and Motsham is killed. Alamon, injured from her encounter with Mazog, returns to Bósi with news of Bori. After the harrowing day, Bósi sees that there is no hope for the survival of the Iron Garrison. Wíli tells him that a group of elves have settled in the Shadowed Refuge and they plan to make contact. January 29th Alamon reaches the Peaceful Path and is tented by the healers. She talks with Bróin about the situation. Bósi, Aranvi and Yowyow set out for the Shadowed Refuge to ask help of the elves. January 30th Bósi, Aranvi and Yowyow reach the Shadowed Refuge and meet Tinarwing. who is impressed with the Iron Garrison's high kill count of Orcs and Goblins in Moria. Alamon awakes and heads back to the Twenty-first Hall. Tinarwing, Bósi, Aranvi and Yowyow first make sure the Shadowed Refuge is save from the Orcs, Goblins and other foul things before they start working together. January 31st Bósi, Aranvi and Yowyow meet Lenglammel, Forglinn and Dithaliwenn. They tell them of the Globsnaga, Orcs that Mazog sent into the Foundations of Stone which are afflicted by some sickness of mind and body. Bósi and the Elves kill many Globsnaga and learn that Gorothúl has tricked Mazog and corrupted his Orcs on purpose. Hierok and Alamon head for the Shadowed Refuge aswell. Bósi shares the news of the death of Durin's Bane with the Elves of the Shadowed Refuge. The Elves thank Bósi for his aid, and promise to aid the Iron Garrison in return. Bósi and Aranvi start a trip to Lothlórien. February 1st: Hierok and Alamon reach the Shadowed Refuge and, together with the elves of the Shadowed Refuge and Yowyow, place Elf-stones around their camp to ward off the horrors of the deep, then set out to find news of Gandalf, and of the Elf-warrior Magor, missing for some days. Galadriel confers with Aragorn about the upcoming departure of the Company of the Ring from Lothlórien. The Elves of the Shadowed Refuge find Gandalf's burned hat, and discover that the Endless Stair has become damaged in a great battle. Galadriel writes a letter about the departure of the Company of the Ring to Elrond, asking him to form the Grey Company and to send it south to meet Aragorn in Rohan. She sends the letter to Imladris with a messenger. The Elves of the Shadowed Refuge enter the pit of Azanarukâr, where they encounter battalions of Mazog's elite orcs led by Dhugluk. They find Magor, imprisoned in the depths. Magor brings the Elves of the Shadowed Refuge further inside Azanarukâr. They defeat the the Gloom-walker, the Flame-drinker, and the Ancient Evil of Gwathnor. The Elves return to the Shadowed Refuge, and Magor heads out to inform Galadriel of the events in Azanarukâr, and of the death of Durin's Bane. Hierok, Alamon and Yowyow head for the Twenty-first Hall again. February 2nd: Bósi and Aranvi arrive at Lothlórien and tells Haldir of the events at the Shadowed Refuge. This time, Haldir agrees to bring Bósi to Celeborn and Galadriel. Aranvi muses on the hill of Cerin Amroth, named for Amroth, last King of Lórien, and the river Nimrodel named for the King's love, both lost centuries ago. She goes to find the Company of the Ring. Bósi and Haldir encounter Legolas and Gimli. Bósi explains to them the threat of Mazog, the capture of his son Bori, and the hidden evils of the depths of Moria. Aranvi talks with Frodo, Sam and Merry. The Hobbits are relaxing in the Golden Wood, Merry out for a stroll and Pippin taking a nap. Yowyow talks with Orvar and Corunothiel and heads for an interesting detail that may help them in the fight against Gorothúl. Bósi meets with to Galadriel and Celeborn. He asks for aid against Mazog and the dangers of Moria. He mentions the interference of Gorothúl, which prompts Celeborn to send a number of Galadhrim to aid the Iron Garrison. He appoints Corunothiel to lead this endeavour. Bósi and Corunothiel leave for Moria with their Elven escort. Aranvi talks with Boromir, Legolas and Gimli. Boromir is impatient to return to Gondor, while Gimli and Legolas hold a contest to see who can kill the most Orcs at the edge of the wood. February 3rd Magor arrives at Caras Galadhon and meets with Galadriel. He shares news that Gandalf likely survived his fall, and later ascended the Endless Stair. Durin's Bane lies dead, but Gandalf has not been found. Galadriel grants Magor a powerful Elf-stone. While searching for mining records, Bróin discovers mention of Zurr-thurkh, a secret passage to Rushdurinul where the Throne of Durin can be found - the same place known as Zabadgathol, where Mazog is keeping Bori prisoner. Magor heads back into Moria. Bósi, Aranvi and the Elves of Lórien arrive in Moria. Yowyow, Orvar and Corunothiel establish Buzun-ghâr in Durin's Way. Yowyow, Orvar and Corunothiel kill several encroaching Globsnaga and defeat Grawulun the Caerog. Bróin and Hierok search the workshop of Melkólf Stonecarver and discovers that the entrance to Zurr-thurkh lies in Buzun-ghâr. Bróin, Hierok, Yowyow, Orvar, Corunothiel and Nimpheleg scout the secret passage to Zurr-thurkh. They launch a sneak attack, and capture Mazog. Mazog reveals that Bori has been sent as a gift to Gorothúl in Dol Guldur. Bróin swears an oath to kill Mazog once Bori has been freed. February 4th: Bróin prepares to trade Mazog for his cousin Bori in an exchange of prisoners. The letter Galadriel wrote to Elrond arrives in Imladris. Elrond meets with Pethelen and gives him a mission - gather Rangers of the North from the corners of Eriador to join the Grey Company. Orvar and Yowyow find and destroy one of Gorothúl's wards in Buzun-ghâr. Celeborn prepares for an incursion into Mirkwood. He gathers supplies and makes ready for the passage of the Malledhrim, selecting those who will lead it. The lore-master Issuriel is among them. Orvar returns to Bróin, and tells of the relic he found in Buzun-ghâr. Bróin warns other Dwarves about Gorothúl's wards. Galadriel looks into her mirror. She sees the fight between Gandalf and Durin's Bane on the Bridge of Khazad-dûm. The bridge breaks, and they fall into the abyss together. She also sees the earth shaking below mighty feet, and war-horns sounding. The end comes, and the Beorning is on the wrong side of the tide. There is a race at great speed, but death comes more quickly still. Iron Garrison explorers find and destroy another of Gorothúl's wards in the Mirror-halls of Lumul-nar, after it draws Ergoth and many other Merrevail there. Magor arrives back in the Foundations of Stone and undertakes several incursions into the depths of Azanarukâr. He sees some Regmyl carrying an idol of some evil significance. Magor disrupted Gorothúl's ritual of summoning, casting Grawulun and Gwathnor down once more. On February 5th: Dawn - Stóthkell uses to the forge at the Heart of Fire to create new mithril shackles for Mazog. Dawn - Bróin forms an escort team consisting of Greyhammer Dwarves - Lúth, Otri, Rósar and Stígur. Morning - Magor forms a small party and makes another incursion into Azanarukâr. Morning - Bróin's escort team bring Mazog with them out of Moria. Noon - Radanir receives the letter from Elrond, summoning him to join the Grey Company. Noon - Magor's party battle the many forms of Grawulun the Caerog, and destroy one of Gorothúl's relics. Gwathnor returns from the Shadows, and is defeated using Galadriel's Elf-Stone. Afternoon - Bósi and a strike team enter Nalâ-dûm, the Water Wheels. They defeat the Caerog Caerlûg, and destroy another of Gorothúl's relics. Afternoon - Magor send a messenger to Lothlórien, beseeching Celeborn to make haste with the strike on Dol Guldur, lest the Elves be caught in the middle of the servants of the Shadow. Afternoon - Radanir clears out several Orc defilers from the cave of Laenan, then rides out to Rivendell. Dusk - Galadriel again looks into her mirror. She sees Gandalf and Durin's Bane plummeting into the shadowed depths of Moria, past rushing rock and whistling air. She also sees a tower clawing the sky, unhidden by the falling snow. Hearts hardened by defeat burn there, white-hot with vengeance. The brawler should beware the place of jungle, where rot festers in stately lines. A climb is dared with friends, but alone someone falls into a trap. The Hidden Guard formed to bring Mazog secretly to Dol Guldur. On February 6th: Foredawn - Bróin and Mazog's escort come to the Anduin river in Thinglad. They cross the Anduin and wait for the Hidden Guard in Mirkwood. Dawn - The Hidden Guard is formed from Raddir the scout, Sigileth the Lady of Knives, Achardor the guardian, Issuriel the lore-master, and Cúcheron the bow-master. Morning - Celeborn receives Magor's letter. He launches the attack on Mirkwood by sending the Malledhrim across the Anduin. Braiglinn leads the preparation efforts, Calengoth organises the crossing, Fuirgam has charge of the host on the East bank, and Alfirimbes coordinates the assault team with the Hidden Guard. Afternoon - Candaith receives the letter from Elrond, summoning him to join the Grey Company. He collects a hidden cache of items and defeats the half-orc bandit Orskdulug, then rides east to Rivendell. Afternoon - The Hidden Guard cross the Anduin and meets Mazog's Dwarven escort. Dusk - The Hidden Guard find orders on a slain orc in Mirkwood, revealing that the Enemy is unaware of their mission. Dusk - Galadriel tries again to learn more of Gandalf's fate in her mirror. She sees Gandalf and Durin's Bane battling deep in the Foundations of Stone. She sees bursts of light and sweeping shadows, whirls of fire and rippling water. She also sees a great tower in moonlight, a shadow across the sky, a cell with no escape, and stairs being watched, though she cannot see how a burglar would enter or leave that place. Gloaming - Radanir arrives in Rivendell with several Trollshaws Rangers as the first part of the Grey Company. Evening - Raddir leads the Hidden Guard into the Drownholt. Raddir was slain by an unknown evil of the Drownholt. On February 7th: Midnight - The Hidden Guard cross through the Drownholt. Raddir mentions seeing someone familiar that died a long time ago, then scouts ahead. The others clear a tunnel of Crawlers, then find Raddir dead, with no trace of violence on his body. With no guide, the party retreats from the swamp and heads north into the Dourstocks. Late Watches - The Hidden Guard arrive in Audaghaim, where the Malledhrim have set up a base camp. Noon - Saeradan of Bree-land receives the letter from Elrond, summoning him to join the Grey Company. Afternoon - Dúndurion recruits the Hidden Guard to aid in an assault against the Merrevail in Dannenglor. They free Laeglang, Idhrenfair, Prestadír, Puiguil and Athradnir from imprisonment in the ruined fort, and kill Authdurgul. Afternoon - Saeradan warns Barliman Butterbur of unruly southerners, recently arrived in Bree-land. Uchdrud challenges Saeradan to a duel, but is defeated. Saeradan starts out on the road to Rivendell. Dusk - The Hidden Guard return to the Haunted Inn and discover that Rósar and Stígur have vanished. Dusk - Galadriel searches her mirror. She sees Gandalf and Durin's Bane at the foot of the Endless Stair, spells flashing and weapons whirling. She also sees a long vigil, waiting for an ally that does not come. The captain's words must inspire, for time passes too slowly behind the walls. They cannot stand forever, neither the walls, nor the Men under their command. The dawn seems far off, but is it their fate to see it? Gloaming - The Hidden Guard find Rósar and Stígur in the Drownholt. Both brothers swear to seeing familiar faces in the swamp, luring them on, then vanishing. Evening - The Hidden Guard discuss forward routes - the Scuttledells, Taur Morvith and Emyn Lûm are all fronted as possible options. Both Issuriel and Mazog sustained poisoned bites from spiders in the Scuttledells. On February 8th: Morning - Advance scouts of the Malledhrim investigate possible routes for the Hidden Guard. Both the direct path through Emyn Lûm and the southern route through Taur Morvith have a heavy Orc presence, while the Scuttledells are crawling with venomous spiders. Noon - Halros receives the letter from Elrond, summoning him to join the Grey Company. Noon - The Hidden Guard receive reports about their possible routes. The party decides to brave the spiders rather than risk detection by Orcs. Afternoon - Candaith arrives in Rivendell with several Lone-lands Rangers as the second part of the Grey Company. Afternoon - The Hidden Guard make an attempt at crossing through the Scuttledells, but is repeatedly swarmed by spiders. Both Issuriel and Mazog are bitten, and cannot proceed. Afternoon - During goodbyes, Lotho Sackville-Baggins seems surprisingly happy to see Halros leave. Halros sets out on the road towards Rivendell. Dusk - Halbarad receives the letter from Elrond, summoning him to join the Grey Company. Dusk - Galadriel looks in her mirror and sees Gandalf and Durin's Bane battling on the Endless Stair, the darkness of the deepest pits receding around them. She also sees a shadow beneath the trees, moving without sound. Might here will not avail. The shadow stalks without mercy, unrelenting. Someone bellows a challenge, and a beast is at the champion's side, but whether this beast is a friend or foe, she cannot see. Gloaming - Halbarad destroys three unholy statues in Tham Úmdúr. Evening - The Hidden Guard retreat from the Scuttledells. They bring Issuriel and Mazog to Ost Galadh to be cured. Evening - Halbarad and Daervunn arrange to leave for Rivendell. Gorothúl betrayed the Hidden Guard, leading to Achardor's death by the Nazgûl. On February 9th: Dawn - The Hidden Guard collect ingredients for a remedy for the poison afflicting Issuriel and Mazog - a gwigael venom sac and a Sereglos flower. Morning - Barvessain creates a remedy for the gwigael poison. Issuriel refuses it, so it is given to Mazog instead. Bróin disappears from Ost Galadh. Noon - Calenglad of Evendim receives the letter from Elrond, summoning him to join the Grey Company. Afternoon - Calenglad collects relics from tomb robbers and says goodbye to Gwindeth, then leaves for Rivendell. Dusk - Bróin returns with another Sereglos flower and a gwigael venom sac, having combed through Mirkwood all day. Another dose of remedy is created and given to Issuriel. Dusk - Galadriel looks in her mirror and sees Gandalf and Durin's Bane battling on the Endless Stair. Their fight echoes through the halls of the Dwarves as they climb slowly, step by step. She also sees a crash of thunder, a broken shield, the wall of spears moving in time to the drum-bear of doom. A shroud of despair as the great beast descends. The guardian is mighty, but not all their friends can be saved. Gloaming - The Hidden Guard leave for Dol Guldur to make the prisoner exchange. Evening - At Dol Guldur, the Hidden Guard entreat with Gorothúl. They hand Mazog over, but Gorothúl reneges on the deal. Three Ringwraiths enter the courtyard - the Gloom of Nurn, the Black Blade of Lebennin and the Lieutenant of Dol Guldur. Achardor defies them and is killed, while Bróin, Sigileth and Cúcheron escape back to Ost Galadh. Mazaukal assaulted Thangúlhad, but was defeated. On February 10th: Morning - Ningloril defeats the commanders of the orc-camps of Gathbúrz, and get hold of some of their battle plans. Morning - Corunir receives the letter from Elrond, summoning him to join the Grey Company. Noon - Ningloril sends a team to kill sorcerers and fell spirits in the Ashenslades. Afternoon - Saeradan arrives in Rivendell with several Bree-land Rangers as the third part of the Grey Company. Afternoon - The Ashenslades team kill Gorothúl's sorcerers and fell spirits at Sâd Doldúr, and destroy the sorcerers' spell tomes. Afternoon - Lothrandir receives the letter from Elrond, summoning him to join the Grey Company. Dusk - Ningloril, Ellunen and Rodelleth lead the defence of Thangúlhad against Mazaukal and his Orcs. Dusk - Galadriel looks in her mirror and sees Gandalf and Durin's Bane battling on the Endless Stair, the giant halls of the Dwarves rising out around them. She also sees great webs strung beneath the trees. A friend in peril, her life's blood mingling with venom and remose. Chattering, evil shapes approach. The hunter's bow longs to sing, but there are too many, even should all the arrows find their marks. Galadriel also learns of Achardor's death, and goes to inform his widow Núrelleth of this. Evening - Corunir travels to the Rift of Nûrz Ghâshu, and saves Golodir from the mind control of the Rogmul Erebún. Corunir and Golodir make ready to ride for Rivendell together. Evening - Lothrandir travels to Kolo-hampât to warn off Gun Ain from the lands of the Lossoth. He starts on the long journey to Rivendell. Gun Ain follows him south. Evening - The Malledhrim prepare to strike at Dol Guldur itself. Ningloril led a team into the Dungeons of Dol Guldur and rescued Bori. On February 11th: Morning - The gates of Dol Guldur are taken by the Malledhrim, and Doraz is killed. Afternoon - The Malledhrim assault the Ringwraiths' lair. They stand against Uluithiad at the Outer Bailey, then follow him to the tower and defeat him. They claim the Ringwraiths' Lair, exposing the heart of Dol Guldur to attack. Dusk - Galadriel looks in her mirror and sees Gandalf and Durin's Bane battling on the Endless Stair, their fight lighting up the walls and scarring the stone around them. She also sees the prize of knowledge, waiting, ripe for the taking. A library at the pinnacle of the black spire, secrets untold. Enemies without, and within. How far will the lore-master's heart be taken for limitless knowledge? Evening - Ningloril arranges for a party of Malledhrim to enter the Dungeons of Dol Guldur. They find Bori there, and bring him back to Thangúlhad. The mihtril axe Zigilburk remains in the hands of the Enemy. Zigilburk betrayed Mazog, and Bróin slew him. On February 12th: Morning - Bróin and Sigileth scout the cave of Thurimen in the Ashenslades. They find it leads to a secret access to the tower of Dol Guldur. Noon - The Malledhrim mount a final offensive against Dol Guldur, while Bróin, Sigileth and Cúcheron use the secret entrance through Thurimen to gain access to the tower armoury where Mazog is being held. Afternoon - The Hidden Guard face off against Mazog wielding Zigilburk. The curse of the axe holds true, and Mazog is killed by Bróin. Thus, Bróin's oath is fulfilled, and Zigilburk is reclaimed. Dusk - On the way out out the tower, Ellunen finds Sigileth's knives in a slain Olog-hai. As she would never abandon her weapons, she is assumed to be killed in the battle. The team returns to Thangúlhad, bringing Sigileth's knives with them. Dusk - Galadriel looks in her mirror and sees Gandalf and Durin's Bane battling on the Endless Stair, as the caves of the Dwarves fade beneath them, and the light of open sky lights up the walls. Stairs climb unceasingly into the heights, and a city sleeps, its inhabitants gone. But not all, not yet. Those that remain dream a restless dream. Will the minstrel's songs stir them to wakefulness? Evening - Halros, Daervunn and Halbarad arrive in Rivendell with several North Downs Rangers as the fourth part of the Grey Company. After the raid on the Dark Tower, Cúcheroin returned to Augadhaim to learn its secrets. On February 13th: Dawn - Ningloril sends Malledhrim to kill the Orcs and worms mustering in Gath Ulunn. Morning - Laeglang scouts the locations of various points of interest throughout Dol Guldur, including the entrance to the Warg-pens and the Sword-hall. Morning - Barvessain gathers ingredients for an unguent that can shield the bearer from the effects of fire, and for a soothing salve that can mitigate the effects of poison. Noon - Cúcheron returns to the Haunted Inn to investigate the mystery of Audaghaim one last time. He learns that many of the townsfolk fled to Agistath, while others remained behind. Of those who ended up in that dark cave, few escaped with their lives. Afternoon - Lúth Greyhammer swears an oath to kill an Orc in every region where a Greyhammer has been wronged. He starts by killing an Orc in Mirkwood. Dusk - Alfirimbes follows some fleeing Orcs into the Hall of Lights where she discovers some pestilent glow-worms. She dispatches of the worms and their queen. Dusk - Galadriel looks in her mirror and sees Gandalf and Durin's Bane battling high on a peak somewhere in the Misty Mountains, where snow whirls and wind howls and both combatants falter. She also sees runes of power in the darkness, secrets unseen for an age. A blast of warm air, and the rune-keeper turns to stare into yellow eyes. Words of power are spoken, but still the eyes stare out of the darkness, unafraid. Gloaming - Ellunen brings Sigileth's knives back to Lord Celeborn in Caras Galadhon. Evening - Gruingalas goes to Achardor's widow Núrelleth to inform her of her husband's death, but she has already been told by Galadriel several days earlier. Galadriel learned of Gandalf's fall, and sent Gwaihir the Windlord to search for him on the three peaks of Moria. On February 14th: Morning - Braiglinn organises a strike against the Warg-pens of Dol Guldur, killing Athgrat and Kranklob. Afternoon - Calenglad arrives in Rivendell with several Evendim Rangers as the fifth part of the Grey Company. Afternoon - Lúth Greyhammer continues following his oath to kill an Orc in every region where a Greyhammer has been wronged, by killing an Orc in Lothlórien. Dusk - Galadriel looks in her mirror and sees Gandalf and Durin's Bane battling to the end. They both fall into shadow in the snowy peaks of the Misty Mountains. She also sees a thundering of hooves shaking the earth. Black sails fly on a river of dread. Foes are everywhere, but the warden sees them not, blinded by grief, and death is defined in its name. Evening - Galadriel goes to Gwaihir the Windlord, and asks him to fly to the highest peaks of the Misty Mountains to look for the fallen form of Gandalf. Evening - Nineteen days after destroying Durin's Bane, Gandalf returns to life. Though he breathes and perceives, he cannot move, and lies frozen still on the peak. Bróin returned Zigilburk to Óin in the Drowned Treasury and sealed them in. On February 15th: Dawn - Corunir, Golodir and Lothrandir arrive in Rivendell with several Angmar Rangers as the sixth and final part of the Grey Company. Morning - Arwen finishes her gift of a battle standard for Aragorn and leaves it in the charge of the Grey Company. Morning - Braiglinn organises a strike against the Sword-hall of Dol Guldur, killing Urcheron, Carchrien, and Durkâr. Noon - The Grey Company sets out from Rivendell and head to Eregion. Noon - Gwaihir searches the peak of Cloudyhead for signs of Gandalf. Noon - Bori and Bróin return to Moria and put Zigilburk back into Nalâ-dûm where they found it, never again to cause its wielder's downfall. Afternoon - The Iron Garrison seals the entrance to the Drowned Treasury, locking the cursed weapon Zigilburk inside. Afternoon - Lúth Greyhammer continues following his oath to kill an Orc in every region where a Greyhammer has been wronged, by killing an Orc in Moria. Dusk - Galadriel allows Sam and Frodo to use her mirror. In the reflective surface, Sam sees Frodo lying pale and still, and trees being felled in the Shire. Frodo sees a wizard in white, Bilbo pacing, the lost island of Númenor, and a great Eye searching for him. He sees that Galadriel wears Nenya. He offers the One Ring to her, but she refuses it. Evening - Celeborn offers the Company of the Ring use of Elven boats, and they prepare to leave in the morning. January 6th The Iron Garrison meet with Glóin in his camp and talk with him about Moria. Glóin is skeptical of their venture and thinks Balin's colony has been lost. He sends Yowyow to Rivendell to tell Elrond of this endeavour. A message from Golodir speaks of an opened rift in Angmar. January 7th The Company of the Ring emerges onto the open plains of Eregion. Yowyow arrives at Rivendell and Elrond decides that Hierok, Alamon, Aranvi and Yowyow should join the Iron Garrison. January 8th The Company of the Ring stops at High Hollin in Eregion and see the three peaks of Moria. Crebain swarm over them again, and they hide on the ground. Hierok, Alamon, Aranvi and Yowyow leave Rivendell and head for Moria. Hierunuir, Ronaduin, Mydaxil and Haelondir leave Rivendell and head for the Rift of Nûrz Ghâshu January 9th The Company of the Ring travel through High Hollin toward the wilderness of Tâl Caradhras and shelter against another swarm of Crebain. January 10th The Company of the Ring pass through Tâl Caradhras and come to the foothills of the Redhorn Pass. January 12th The Company of the Ring need to head back and decide to go through Moria. January 13th The Company of the Ring is surrounded by wolves but manages to fight them off. Avandie sees the fire that Gandalf uses to fight off the wolves and rides in that direction. The Company of the Ring arrives at Moria and they are trapped by the Watcher in the Water. January 14th The Company of the Ring come to the Chamber of the Crossroads. The Iron Garrison arrive at the entrance of Moria. Avandie re-unites with Hierok, Alamon and Aranvi and meets Yowyow and decides to travel with them to Moria. The Company of the Ring come to the Twenty-first Hall and Frodo Baggins spots Gollum. January 15th Hierok, Alamon, Aranvi, Avandie and Yowyow arrive at the gates of Moria. The Company of the Ring comes to the Chamber of Mazarbul. The Iron Garrison scouts the Brackwater. Gandalf battles the Balrog and falls into the abyss. The rest of the Company flees into the Dimrill Dale. January 16th Orcs attack the Company of the Ring, but they are killed by Haldir and his archers. The Iron Garrison works to excavate the blocked entrance to Moria. Aranvi and Avandie set out to kill the howling wolves. The Company of the Ring enters Lothlórien blindfolded. January 17th The Iron Garrison has cleared the doors of Moria. Bróin and 3 others are pulled under water by the Watcher in the Water to the Drowned Treasury. The Company of the Ring arrives at Caras Galadhon and meets with Galadriel and Celeborn. January 18th The Iron Garrison beats back the Watcher and establishes a camp at Durin's Threshold. Hierok, Alamon, Aranvi, Avandie and Yowyow push further into Moria and establish a camp at the Dolven-view. Galadriel and Celeborn decide to send a small party of Elves to establish a small foothold within the depths of Moria. Hierok, Alamon and Yowyow journey south and establish a camp at the Deep Descent. Aranvi, Avandie and Bósi journey north and establish a camp at the Chamber of the Crossroads. January 19th Galadriel orders Tinarwing to lead a party of Elves into Moria. The Iron Garrison learns of the mithril axe Zigilburk in the library of the Great Delving. Yowyow locates Nâr-khelab, the Heart of Fire, by accident and rides towards the Chamber of the Crossroads with the news. Hierok and Alamon head down towards the Water-works and establish the Rotting Cellar. Avandie establishes a camp at the Twenty-first Hall. Yowyow informs Bósi and Aranvi about the Heart of Fire. Brogur establishes the Chamber of Leadership. January 20th Tinarwing sets out from Lothlórien with a party of Elves. Aranvi and Yowyow discover a Goblin Map with a blank space after a goblin hunt and bring it to Bósi. Bósi uses the map and finds the Way of Smiths. Zigilburk is missing however. January 21st Hierok and Alamon find the hide-out of The Watcher in the Water and fight the beast in the Vile Maw scaring it away. The Iron Garrison establishes the Orc-watch. Gandalf and the Balrog reach Durin's Way but go unnoticed by the Iron Garrison. Wárr and Avandie uncover the Chamber of Mazarbul and finds its book, finally uncovering what happened to the company of Balin. Hierok and Alamon travel back to the Rotting Cellar to report back to Bósi about the beast in the deep. January 22nd Brogur sends a team of Dwarves to set up a camp in the Dimrill Dale outside Moria's entrance. Avandie accompanies them. Tinarwing and her elves enter Moria and set up camp at the east side of the destroyed bridge. Bori, Wíli, Stilling and Aranvi head down into the Redhorn Lodes to attack the Orcs. The Iron Garrison establishes Anazârmekhem. Bori, Wíli, Stilling and Aranvi arrive at the Orc-watch. January 23rd Gandalf and Durin's Bane reach the top of the Endless Stair and exit to Durin's Tower. Bori, Wíli, Stilling and Aranvi kill the leader of White Hand orcs, Ashpar. Tinarwing and Avandie meet at the First Hall. Avandie accompanies the elves into the Foundations of Stone. Bósi learns that Mazog was behind the massacre of Balin's colony. Hierok and Alamon arrive at the Chamber of the Crossroads and share the news about the Watcher.
