Location and Description

Jiret-menêsh is an ancient Temámir city, hidden in the northern reaches of An Shêru in Mûr Ghala. It sits in the uppermost crags of the Hills of Haramûl, behind a recently reopened mining passage. [52.4S, 76.7W] Located atop a mountain that the Men of the past once called "The Sheenwall", this dwarf-hall was built in the First Age, making it 6000 - 7000 years old. At various points throughout history, the Temámir of Jiret-menêsh have been allied with the Kintai, Néshak, Zajâna, and the Temámir of the Shoreward Stone in Umbar, among others. Following the razing of Lâkindar and the subsequent Din of Stone, Châmelek Gêta, lord of Jiret-menêsh, ordered the closing of the doors, cutting Jiret-menêsh off from the outside world for the next one hundred years, only to re-poen when then threats of the Ordâkhai and Barkhûshim have passed.
