Bail Avarc is located in Ephel Angren on a cliff overlooking Carn Dûm. The settlement is only accessible through a stable master, milestone or return skills. It is not possible to walk into Carn Dûm from this camp, despite the presence of a contextual map. Bail Avarc is the hub for the Return to Carn Dûm Instance Cluster- arriving in the camp completes the discovery deed required to unlock all of the instances.

Bail Avarc is a camp established by the Trév Gállorg of Aughaire from which they intend to put a stop to the resurgence of the Iron Crown. They have been joined by a number of Trév Duvárdain, disillusioned with the plans of the Angmarim and divided among themselves, and by old allies from Gath Forthnír like Rhúnelleth. Bail Avarc is also the seat of the Stewards of the Iron-home.
