Sammath Baul (Sindarin for Chambers of Torment) is a landmark within Carn Dûm, in Angmar. [10.4N, 34.7W]
This Angmarim prison, guarded by Yrch of the Tarkrîp tribe, is dark, grim and full of disease and pestilence due to all the rotting bodies that litter the floor. As a result, a number of vile pests have found their way into the halls and chambers of the prison.
The Sammath Baul Gate-key is required to enter this place, which is looted off of Lozudurkh in an earlier quest. During session play later on, characters play as an Angmarim Bloodletter Elder.
