The War of Three Peaks

The War of Three Peaks is an area of Elderslade, in the land of Rhovanion.

The War of Three Peaks

The War of Three Peaks overlays the pre-war region of Elderslade. Prince Durin and the Gabil'akkâ have begun their assault on Gorgar the Ruthless and the orcs of Gundabad and Elderslade has become a massive battlefield.

The War of Three Peaks comes after Elderslade chronologically. Access to the wartime map granted by the Blazons of the Gabil'akkâ is locked by completion of the Epic quest Chapter 4.4: The War of Three Peaks, after which the blazons will be visible for interaction.

Lore

Not since the Sixth War of Dwarves and Orcs has such an alliance between the dwarf-clans been seen. Durin VII, Prince of the Longbeards, leads the Gabil'akkâ, the Unified Army of Dwarves, to reclaim Mount Gundabad, birthplace of Durin the Deathless and a sacred site particularly to the dwarves of Durin's Folk. The enemies the Gabil'akkâ face as they assault the mountain are numerous- Gorgar the Ruthless (whose line has a long list of grievances against the Longbeards) and his orcs, Hrímil Frost-heart and the dragon-kin of the Frost-horde, Angmarim who fled east after the fall of Angmar, and now Dourhands too have joined to harry the march of the Gabil'akkâ. Prince Durin and his commanders are joined by a number of Zhélruka, including their prince Ingór, and Stout-axe survivors of Mordor.
