Description
The Gates of Gundabad mark the grandest entrance to the ancient dwarf-halls of Gundabad on the western side of Elderslade. A long stairway ascends to the gate, the Orkish camps of Hanksar-mokh and Kulûg-mokh to the south and north.
Gundabad has been held by orcs since the Second Age, most recently under the rule of Gorgar the Ruthless, son of Bolg. The gates themselves were sealed during the War of Three Peaks by the dragon Hrímil Frost-heart.
