Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue

'I bristle at these accusations, and refute them! My Zhélruka have fought and died as bravely as any two Longbeards, and if Durin calls me coward he will answer to my axe! He seeks proof that my Zhélruka have paid the price? Look then upon the corpses of my slain, and gather their fallen weapons! Then you will see that my own folk have done their share... nay, more than their share!

'The Zhélruka release their weapons only when slain! Collect the weapons by their corpses and store them in a barrel at the trench to the north-west so they can be wielded by Longbeards who cast aside their own weapons when the fighting turned fierce! Durin speaks to me of cowardice? He should look to his own!'

Background

Ingór is furious at Durin's suggestion that the Zhélruka prince kept his forces in reserve during the initial assault of the War of Three Peaks.

Objective 1

  • Collect fallen Zhélruka weapons (0/6)
  • Defeat enemy forces during the War of Three Peaks (0/12)

Prince Ingór wants you to pick up weapons dropped by his slain warriors as proof that the Zhélruka are shouldering their own share of the war's burden. You should also slay any enemies that break through the line.

Objective 2

  • Bring the Zhélruka weapons to the weapon crate in the trench to the north-west

A crate for storing spare weapons can be found in a trench north-west of Prince Ingór's defensive position during the War of Three Peaks.

Bori is in the trench north-west of Zarkul-sulûn during the War of Three Peaks.

Bori: '<name>, have you seen my father or cousin? I lost track of them after the first assault, and I have not been able to find them amid the chaos. Can you look for them? I want to make sure they are still all right.
'I have not been able to search beyond this trench to the north-west. Perhaps they were pushed that way during the fighting!'

Objective 4

Bori wanted you to look for his cousin Bróin or his father Bósi north-west of his trench. He has not seen them since the fighting began, and he is worried for their safety.

Bósi: 'Ready yourself, <name>! They prepare for another assault!'

Objective 5

  • Fight alongside Bósi during the War of Three Peaks

You hear the sound of many dwarves shouting to the north
Bósi says, 'I saw dwarves retreating to a trench to the north! Go help them!'

  • Find the retreating dwarves Bósi saw near the trench to the north

Bósi told you he saw dwarves retreating from thick fighting to the north. You should search there for Bróin.

  • Talk to Trausti in the trench not far from the lakeside during the War of Three Peaks

You found Trausti in a trench not far from the lakeide while the fighting rages all about him and the War of Three Peaks continues.

Trausti: 'I thought Gundabad had unleashed all of its defenders upon us, but it was not so! Another wave of enemies emerged from the mountain, forcing us to give ground!'
