Quest Text

Bestowal dialogue 'The time has come to bring this war to its end. Muster your allies and prepare for a fierce battle. Join me, <name>, as we bring the fight to Gorgar the Ruthless, and claim Gundabad!' Background The time has come to face Gorgar the Ruthless and claim lordship of Gundabad. Objective 1 Use the Instance Finder to enter "Amdân Dammul, the Bloody Threshold" on any difficulty. Durin has called for your aid in the final battle with Gorgar the Ruthless. Use the Instance Finder to enter "Amdân Dammul, the Bloody Threshold" on any difficulty. Objective 2 Talk to Durin The final battle for Gundabad is about to begin. You should speak to Durin inside Amdân Dammul, the Bloody Threshold. Durin: '<name>, I am glad to have you with us. I will soon call for the charge. We will face much Orkish resistance and I will challenge Gorgar the Ruthless for lordship of Gundabad. One final matter remains.... '<name>, I name you and your fellows Heroes of Durin's Folk! May we achieve glory and victory side by side! 'When you are ready, we begin the charge! Baruk Khazâd! Khazâd ai-mênu!' Objective 3 Fight towards Gundabad Lead the charge towards Gundabad! Objective 4 Talk to Durin The Orcs' trap has been sprung! You should speak to Durin inside Amdân Dammul, the Bloody Threshold. Durin: 'These dishonourable Orcs knew we would defeat them in battle, so they sprung a trap to cut us off from the rest of our forces!' Durin fumes and grinds his teeth, furious at this turn of events. He looks around at the faces of the dwarves trapped with you on this side of the bridge. They show a mix of concern and anger of their own. Durin hardens his resolve and turns toward the open door to the arena. Durin: 'We cannot falter, <name>. There are too many depending on us. Gorgar will have his way, for now. We will overcome any challenge put before us! Gundabad will be ours, this I swear!' Objective 5 Survive Gorgar's Arena Gorgar has sprung a trap and forces you and your dwarf allies to fight in his arena. You should fight in Gorgar's arena and survive! Objective 6 Talk to Durin The day is won, but Hrímil Frost-heart has returned and claimed Gundabad! You should talk to Durin. Durin: 'The day is won, but a dragon-sized obstacle now stands in our way. Despite this new challenge, I will never give up. I swore to claim Gundabad for the dwarves, and that is what I will do. I would have you by my side, if you will continue to trust in my leadership. 'For now, we must regroup, tend to our wounded, and find a way to get through this ice!
