Lâkhedin

Lâkhedin (the Witherlands in Shagâni) is a region of Harad in the land of Haradwaith, located to the west of Khûd Zagin, and south across the Bay of Umbar from the Cape of Umbar. It is not yet in-game.
Once this was a verdant land of fertile plains named Sûgedin, home of the Abundant Kingdom of Nísaka, who ruled with peaceful relations to their neighbours in the east, Jaghâna and Hamât.
However, when the Ordâkhai destroyed the river Usâl's flow with the Din of Stone, Sûgedin's green land was doomed. The dark spell caused the river to dry up completely in the terrible drought called the Great Dearth, leaving the land withered and barren.
In the years, since the dry wasteland now known as Lâkhedin is the flats follows the dessicated riverbed on either side of the former Usâl river.
