The Abundant Kingdom of Nísaka was an ancient dynasty of the Khûd, remembered for its long line of kings and its role in shaping the early history of the region. The Nísakari dynasty was centered at the stronghold of Dun Shûma, a fortress that stood as both the seat of power and a symbol of the kings' enduring rule. Over the centuries, stories grew around Dun Shûma, with many believing that within its hidden chambers lie the treasures of the Nísaka monarchs, preserved through generations. Some traditions go further, claiming that the fortress may even conceal relics once belonging to Aragín the Queller, the legendary figure who first united Shagâna and laid the foundations of the Shârate of Hamât. Nísaka was lost after the Ordâkhai Emperor Shurash Hûl used the Din of Stone to cause the Great Dearth, a terrible drought. The lands of Nísaka were devastated from the loss of their rivers, first the Usâl 200 years ago, then the Agâl a little over 100 years ago. The memory of Nísaka, though distant, continues to be tied to these tales of lost wealth and the grandeur of rulers who sought to emulate the deeds of Aragín. The people of Aradûn seek to reclaim the lost Nísakari lands from their enemies, the Ordâkhai. After ousting the impertials from their home in western Shagâna, the Aradûni now set their sights on freeing Mûr Ghala from the grip of the new Hûl, staring with the lost lakelands of Idagâl.
