High Elf
High Elves, who have beheld the beauty of Valinor, possess grace and strength beyond even their woodland kin. Those few who remain yearn to see that Middle-earth is safe to bequeath to Men before they depart for the Undying Lands.
High Elves were added with the Mordor expansion.

High Elves of Lore
The High Elves are those who are counted among the Noldor, the Falmari, and the Calaquendi, who have been to Valinor and seen its sacred Light. There are not many High Elves left in Middle-earth at the end of the Third Age.
- Celebrimbor, the leader of the Gwaith-i-Mírdain and greatest of the ring-forgers of Eregion
- Lady Galadriel, the Lady of Lothlórien and bearer of the water-ring Nenya
- Gil-galad, the last High King of the Noldor
- Gildor Inglorion, who leads the escorts of his people to the Grey Havens.
- Glorfindel, legendary reborn hero
- Harthalín, a veteran of the Last Alliance of Elves and Men
- Oranoril, a member of the Bright Company and defender of Eregion, who was killed in the War of the Elves and Sauron.
