Southern Andrath is an area within Cardolan in the northern region.

The northern half of the Vale of Andrath stretches into the Bree-lands while the southern half continues past the South-guard Ruins into the old lands of Cardolan. The Greenway runs through the valley and later to Herne and Tharbad. Tyrn Gorthad, the southernmost stretches of the Barrow-downs, rise in the hills to the west. To the east, over another set of steep hills, is another valley home to the barrows of Gond Orchal and eventually the South Downs.

There is usually little of note in the southern half of Andrath itself and it is but a footnote to the odd traveller. Gerwyn's Convoy is a temporary exception as this camp of would be settlers have stopped to recuperate following a run in with brigands.
