Sedgemead is an area in the region of Cardolan in the southern and south-eastern region.

The Greenway runs through Sedgemead from the old trade-town of Herne and on to the ruined city of Tharbad. The River Greyflood forms the south-eastern border of Sedgemead, dividing Cardolan from Swanfleet.

Sedgemead is split up into sections by various rivers with the central section being much more mountainous than the eastern and western sections. Marshlands and ruins of old Anor are scattered throughout the wilds.

There are no permanent settlements within the area in the present day, though an expedition of bree-landers have set up the Stonecrop Encampment within some ruins in an attempt to survey if the area is worth re-settling.
