The ruins of the fortress of Calarphel lie in the south of Tyrn Gorthad, the southernmost reaches of the Barrow-downs that stretch north along the vale of Andrath into Bree-land. Whatever significance these ruins once held is lost as all that remains are the shades which haunt it.
