The Puzzle-vault is an ancient Dwarvish mechanism that secures the Vault of the Mountain within the Hall of Kings of Thorin's Hall.
The Dwarf, Bávor, is trying to solve how to open it and see what's inside it, but is missing the gears necessary to do so.
