Western Eregion is an area within Swanfleet in the northern region.

This hilly area is a continuation of the holly land of Eregion, leading west towards Cardolan. The area is surrounded by rivers - the Bruinen to the north, the Mitheithel to the west, and the Glanduin to the south.

Though once close to the hub of elven activity in the region, the area is now almost fully deserted, only a pair of ruined settlements left as sign of its ancient inhabitants along with a small encampment of elves who watch over the land.

Caras Gelebren, the ruins of Celebrimbor's mighty citadel, lies to the south.
