Description

Sûr Akil is an area within Urash Dâr, in Haradwaith.

This northeastern gorge of Urash Dâr features the course river Mûshid from its stunning falls in the northeast until it joins with the Ilûritu. Due to the proximity of the great dormant evil inside Utug-bûr, the gorge has a certain ominous feeling, and Sûr Akil means "Gorge of Woe" in Shagâni. Orc encampments are tucked on the lips of the gorge, and dens of wasps and scorpions make travel hazardous. The Pools of Kudím feature hot springs that also attract a variety of animals to the area. The small encampment of Nêruzig does have a toehold into the area, though. Tucked into the reaches of Urash Dâr as it is, Sûr Akil borders only the Paths of Khegûl in the south, and the Clefts of Gal-harân to the west.
