After The Dagor Carlanthir, the Battle of the Waterfall, scouts were searching for any sign of Azagath Sea-shadow or his malevolent masters, and they discovered a hidden passage along the cliffside overlooking the valley: an unsealed entry into Utug-bûr. Braving both their own unease and the stench of death, the advance scouts found a vestibule within the crumbling structure. Establishing a small outpost at intersection among the ruins, they await their heroic allies to press further into the darkness confront an evil from out of time.
