Background
The time has come for you and your companions to confront the Thardúth at Utug-bûr.
Objective 1
- Talk to Mithrandir in front of the waterfall
- Follow Mithrandir and your allies through the waterfall
Mithrandir and your companions prepare to confront the Thardúth.
- Mithrandir: 'Steel your resolve, <name>. We know not the precise nature of the evil we go to face... but we will face it all the same.'
- Mithrandir says, "Forward, my friends, with courage!"
- Mithrandir says, "You are the one called Azagath Sea-shadow, Gúrzyul of Sauron?"
Objective 2
- Confront Azagath in front of Utug-bûr
Servants of the Thardúth await you at Utug-bûr.
- Azagath says, "Sauron is dead, old man."
- Azagath says, "I have allied myself with a greater power now."
- Azagath says, "Khôltekh! Rothog!"
- Azagath says, "My new friends have promised to serve the interests of the Kindred!"
- Azagath says, "Will you join hands with me as you did before?"
Objective 3
Azagath Sea-shadow has suggested that his former allies among the Kindred of the Coins join his new cause.
- Rothog: 'We have found our quarry, <name>. The journey that brought us from Umbar Baharbêl as allies is at its end. We have found Azagath.
- 'But it seems someone else found him first.'
- Khôltekh: Khôltekh glances at you briefly but says nothing. All of his attention is fastened upon Azagath."
Objective 4
- Remain on guard during the confrontation with Azagath
Your companions stand opposed to Azagath Sea-shadow and the Thardúth he now serves.
- Mithrandir says, "The Sere Ones keep no promises, save to Morgoth."
- Azagath says, "When they found me they were full of questions."
- Azagath says, "They desired to know the state of things in the world!"
- Rothog says, "Hmmmm...."
- Azagath says, "They agree that our enemies are theirs, Rothog."
- Azagath says, "They will begin with Gondor, as we planned!"
- Azagath says, "What say you, my friends?"
Objective 5
- Remain on guard during the confrontation with Azagath
Your companions stand opposed to Azagath Sea-shadow and the Thardúth he now serves.
- Rothog says, "I say NO, Azagath."
- Rothog says, "My way is "Hêlsi."
- Rothog says, "Freedom."
- Rothog says, "There will be no freedom beneath the heel of your new masters."
- Azagath says, "I believed you to have wisdom, despite your kind, Rothog."
- Azagath says, "I mourn to have been wrong."
- Azagath says, "What say you, Khôltekh?"
- Khôltekh says, "I value success above all, Azagath."
- Khôltekh says, "How will these Thardúth, these Sere Ones, defeat our enemies?"
- Azagath says, "They possess ancient sorceries even Sauron mastered not!"
- Azagath says, "The Orcs they command are larger and deadlier than his own!"
- Azagath says, "You DARE turn your back on me?"
- Khôltekh says, "Ancient sorceries? Deadly Orcs?"
- Khôltekh says, "You wish to trade one Dark Lord for another, Azagath."
- Khôltekh says, "The Kindred of the Coins will not serve such a master as this."
- Legolas says, "Mithrandir! An army of reinforcements approaches!"
- Legolas says, "Shagâni warriors and Kinta Elves march beside the river!"
- Mithrandir says, "Surrender now, Azagath, and we will show you mercy!"
- Azagath says, "There will be no mercy here, old man."
- Azagath says, "Your lives must now be measured in minutes."
- Azagath says, "Good-bye, dead ones."
