Walkthrough & Notes

Interacting with the brazier will spawn The Drowned Prince (darkwater), and because you immediately enter combat with this foe, it will interrupt the interaction with the brazier. Alternatively, The Drowned Prince can be spawned by proximity, at 56.6S, 39.0W, directly East of the brazier. This may be preferrable for melee classes, since The Drowned Prince has a ranged attack and will usually get in 1 or 2 attacks while the character moves from the brazier to melee range of the mob. At 50% morale The Drowned Prince will become unattackable, spawning 4 darkwaters. Once they are defeated, The Drowned Prince will become attackable again, and can be defeated. Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue Speak with Rhona and let them know you are ready to complete your mission in the Greyflood. Background Approach the accursed flame and extinguish it. An accursed flame burns in the ruins at the edge of the Greyflood. It must be doused if the spirits there are to be banished. Objective 1 Douse the accursed flame Approach the accursed flame and extinguish it to banish the spirits. As the flame dies, you see the apparitions beneath the water fade Objective 2 Tell Rhona that the flame has been extinguished With the flame extinguished, you should return to Rhona and tell them of your findings. Scout: 'Let us return to Rhona's encampment.'
