Walkthrough & Notes

The war-leader (Matumbak) can be found at one of three ruined buildings throughout the city: in the north [53.0S, 20.8W] , in the center island [53.6S, 21.0W] or in the south [53.4S, 20.8W] . While initially attacked, at 75% morale, he becomes non-attackable and summons 4 more uruks. When these are defeated, he is attackable again, but becomes non-attackable once more at 25%, at which time another wave is summoned. After that wave is defeated, he is attackable and can be defeated to progress the mission. The summoned waves will count towards the objective, so make your way directly towards Matumbak, slay him first, and kill additional Uruks. If the player is defeated during a wave, Matumbak will appear to still be wounded, but defeating the remainder of the wave will cause him to reset to start. The scout only appears if all Uruks in the area around Matumbak are slain.

Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue After a failed raid on an encampment outside of Caras Gelebren, an Uruk leader was reportedly injured to point of near death. This development provides an opportunity for you to strike a vital blow. After a counter assault by the Uruks at Caras Gelebren, scouts learned that one of the Uruk leaders was injured in the fray. They have set you to finding the leader and finishing the work started in the previous battle. Background A great leader amongst the Uruk from the White Hand was severely injured in an attack at Caras Geleden[sic]. You have been sent to finish the creature. After a counter assault by the Uruks at Caras Gelebren, scouts learned that one of the Uruk leaders was injured in the fray. They have set you to finding the leader and finishing the work started in the previous battle. Objective 1 Defeat the injured White Hand war-leader Defeat melee Uruk-hai of the White Hand (0/7) Defeat ranged White Hand Uruks (0/7) Objective 2 Find the scout Objective 3 (Approaching scout) Talk to Hithriel The Uruk leader was not injured, he was more powerful than any of the other Uruks in the encampment.
