Walkthrough & Notes

A 7-minute countdown timer starts, upon ascending the steps to the south of the instance entrance. One must survive a continuous wave of orcs approaching from the North, East and West consisting of a combination of melee (Caranost Warrior), ranged (Caranost Archer, Caranost Scout) and debuff/self-healing (Caranost Defiler) with a White Hand Soldier as the final boss. Once the countdown timer expires, a scout appears near the campfire, and approaching him progresses the mission, regardless of whether any orcs are still present. Quest Text

Bestowal Dialogue Speak with the mission giver when you are ready to travel to Sírlond and retake the outpost from the Orc menace. Background At the outskirts of Caranost, a brave group holds a line against an onslaught of Orcs pouring across the bridge from the ruins. The latest assault threatens to break the resolve of the warriors at Sírlond. It falls to you to bolster them as they come under assault. Orcs from the forces within the ruins of Caranost crossed the bridge and forced the outpost defenders out of Sírlond. You were asked to drive the enemy out of the outpost. Objective 1 Defeat the occupying forces at Sírlond Objective 2 Find the scout Objective 3 Return to the mission giver and tell them of your success Your mission was a success, you should return to the mission giver and tell them of your success. Scout: 'A fight for the ages! We have won this day. Return anon to Baglan and tell them of your victory here at Sírlond.'
