Location and Description

Nagakhêdi is a camp settlement in the southeastern part of Adagím in Mûr Ghala, in The Drenchmead. [52.7S, 33.6W] The camp consists of four tents and is completely unfortified, though it notably features an Auctioneer and a Vault-keeper. The camp takes its name from the ancient stone structure a bit further east, which in turn is named after a ruler who was responsible for the structure's creation.

History

King Nagakhêdi wanted to make his mark on the world. He had a dream of a citadel to surpass even the grandeur of Emax Dûl itself. His vision was to carve a bastion from the very bones of the mountains themselves - mountains that even the [[Temámir] dared not tread. The workers, labering under the king's ambition, soon began to fall ill, struck by a mysterious wasting disease that sapped their strength and life. Bodies were carried back to the hall of the king - pale and shrunken, their faces etched with a terrible sheen. For fifteen years toiling under the weight of their king's dream withered, and their lives dwindled. The people, at last, rope against their oppressor. The cries of revlot thundered through the streets, demanding the cessation of the cursed construction and the sealing of the mountain's heart. Thus it was that the surviving workers, their strength spent, withdrew from the mountain, sealing the entrance and putting an end to the blight that had threatened them all. Nagakhêdi's creation was left unfinished and sealed off long ago, kept under vigil by the Kintai, who call the place the "Fool's Descent". None know what now lurks within its walls, though a foul air leaks from within cracks in the surrounding structure.
