Kuru-leiri (Lossoth for Canyon Camp) is a settlement located within the area of Talvi-mûri, in Forochel. ^{[19.5N, 83.8W]}

This hunting camp located between the slopes of the northwest-most mountain ridges of Forochel and the fjord-like shore of the Ice Bay. However, fell wildlife is prowling just outside the camp and cause troubles of many kinds. Nonetheless the sturdy Lossoth welcome visitors and will put them to work.

Despite being small, Kuru-leiri provides decent services: a Stable-master, Milestone, and a Camp Site Fire, as well as a Healer, a Supplier & Provisioner, and a Hunter Trainer who, curiously, has lost both his Fellowship and his bow. Though not too far from Zigilgund there are no stable routes there but just one swift travel route to Sûri-kylä.
