Gorthad Nûr is a landmark within Rath Dúath, in the Morgul Vale. ^{[68.8S, 3.5E]}

Countless bones fill the Deep-barrow of Gorthad Nûr, an unholy ossuary carved into the rock of the mountains. Tombs and shrines remain, but they have been desecrated by dark arts. Kergrim howl among the forgotten statues, hungry for flesh, but few other sounds can be heard.

Beyond the opened burial-houses of the Broken Houses, once tombs of Gondor, lie the older tombs of the Deep-barrow, occupied now by the kergrim.
