Walkthrough & Notes

Given that the quest involves transporting chickens, which renders your character virtually defenseless, it is advisable to adhere to the order suggested by the quest narrative. The first chicken is nearest to the pens, the fourth is the most distant, and the rest are situated in between. This strategy minimizes the chance of inadvertently drawing aggression from a pack of jackals while holding a chicken. Should you be attacked, or need to halt the transportation of the chicken for any reason, you can do so by right-clicking the progress bar that indicates the carrying process. Typically, this bar is located at the bottom of the screen, adjacent to the docked quickslots. Remember, if you terminate the carrying process, you must restart it to advance the quest objective.

Objective 1 Speak with the farmer Mushêndu Speak with the farmer Mushêndu. Mushêndu: 'Hashtal-gûr, friend. I'm so glad they finally sent someone. These legs are not as spry and fresh as they once were. Hard to get up and down these hills. My chickens have escaped again. Only thing they seem to have a talent for. Juicier worms on the other side of the fence, must be. They are damned fools though, there are jackals that prowl these hills. Few things are as good a meal for those beasts as a chicken. 'Would you round them up before any harm can befall them?'
