Bestowal dialogue
"The Ent Ashlimb wishes to relay a memory to you, for something troubles his slow, sleepy mind."
Background
A vision from deep within the eyes of the Ent comes unbidden into your mind.
Objective 1
- Observe the small cratures in Ashlimb's memory
You should pay heed to the Ent's vision.
- Little Creature says, "This is a stuffy old place, isn't it, Pippin? I want some air!"
- Little Creature says, "I wouldn't mind finding some fresh water or a hot meal, either, after that ordeal with the Orcs!"
- Little Creature says, "But I don't think stopping here will get us any of it."
- Little Creature says, "Come, Merry! Up you go."
- Little Creature says, "I only hope my legs obey. I really cannot catch my breath in this place!"
- Little Creature says, "There we go...."
- Little Creature says, "If the maps in Rivendell speak true, we may find a river this way, towards the south-west."
- Little Creature says, "Splendid! Try not to get us too lost, Master Brandybuck."
- Little Creature says, "The air really is unnaturally dim and dense in here...."
- Little Creature says, "Just look at all those trailing, sagging beards of lichen!"
- Little Creature says, "But surely this is not so unwholesome as Bilbo's descriptions of Mirkwood."
- Little Creature says, "The sun must peep in sometimes!"
- Little Creature says, "This place does not feel black or evil. It's just..."
- Little Creature says, "...TREE-ish. Frightfully so."
- Then the small creatures were too far out of earshot to observe....
Objective 2
- Return to Ashlimb to wake from the memory
You should return to Ashlimb to wake from the memory.
- Ashlimb: Ashlimb's memory goes no further, for the halflings walked out of range of his hearing.
- Ashlimb: The small cratures interesed Ashlimb, exciting his curiosity, for he had never laid eyes on their like before.
