Battle Cry: Caveat emptor
These days, you can't swing a cat without hitting some adventurer going off to battle for fame, fortune, or "the greater good."
They think they know what battle is. They don't. Real battle is running a shop!
Every day we shopkeepers are invaded by filthy, odorous adventurers covered in blood and whatnot else and accompanied by their pets. Yes, their pets - have you ever seen an adventurer pick up after their pet? But at least their pets don't try to hand you some pig intestines or lizard gizzards and demand to be paid. Other shops accept that junk, but not me. No. I run an upscale establishment, as much is possible given my clientele.
