Walkthrough & Notes

All progress is retained on defeat, or if leaving and re-entering the mission. Vighar Roadwalker and a couple of Gabilazan Guards appear at the start of the instance, but do not assist with combat. Vicious Cold grims cause the  Whiteout! effect, which impairs visibility. This can occur in the vicinity of a grim, even when it is not aggro'ed. The grims can also place  Freezing and  Gnawing Cold debuffs on the player. Freezing can be removed using normal Cure abilities, whereas Gnawing Cold requires the Soothing Warmth effect, or player defeat, in order to remove. The Gnawing Cold debuff is not removed by leaving the instance. Invasive Snow-beasts, like other members of the Snowbeasts category, appear to be immune to Invocation of Elbereth, although susceptible to other Fear effects. The Meddlesome Stone-giant stays passive until Objective 1 is completed. During the fight, he disengages at 50% morale and leaves. The object to be used for Objective 3 is not the gate itself, but a typical-looking gearbox mechanism next to it, both being located at [28.7S, 0.1E], where the giant is initially placed. Click on the gear mechanism to advance the mission.

Upon completing the mission, you will find a "Mission Reward" chest containing: about 250 Silver (level dependent) 1 to 3 Tokens of the Kharum-ubnâr
