Walkthrough & Notes

All progress is retained on defeat, or if leaving and re-entering the mission. CAUTION: like the landscape area of Durin's Stone, there are no invisible walls preventing the player character from falling into the Mirrormere. Once in the water, invisible walls and slopes prevent re-entry to land, to the north and south of Durin's Stone, but there is a path upwards, west of the stone at approximately [12.7S, 77.2W] In addition to the Mission Twist: Orc-defilers cast DNT - Corruption: HoT, placing a  Vile Inspiration heal-over-time corruption on themselves, or their allies. This cast is interruptible, and the corruption removable. Orc-defilers' totems (uninterruptibly summoned) inflict to all enemies within range, both a  Totem: Slowed Movement and  Totem: Power Drain, which depletes a level-scaled amount of power over time. At level 130, the drain is well over 3,000 power every 2 seconds. Move out of totem range, or destroy the totem. Orc-warriors in Aggressive stance have an interruptible, but infrequently-cast Savage Swing attack, for extra damage. Orc-archers in Debilitating stance have an interruptible, but infrequently-cast Disarming Arrow attack, which Disarms for a few seconds. This attack is only used from range.

Upon completing the mission, you will find a "Mission Reward" chest containing: about 250 Silver (level dependent) 1 to 3 Tokens of the Kharum-ubnâr

Objective 1 Defeat Orc-defilers in the Dimrill Dale (0/8) Destroy blighted cauldrons in the Dimrill Dale (0/6) Your mission is to defeat Orc-defilers that have come out of Moria and destroy their cauldrons of blight. MISSION COMPLETE! A longbeard scout has arrived to escort you back to Akrâz-zahar! Longbeard Scout shouts : Great work, <name>! Now, let's get out of here! Objective 2 Talk to Vorthur Smokebreath You have completed your mission. You should talk to Vorthur Smokebreath at Akrâz-zahar. 'Azanulbizar does not belong to the Orcs, <name>! Let us return!'
